Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Family and friends. I actually new David back in the 70's. A lot of time as went by since those good ole days.

Didn't he have a brother that use to take photos at Salthawk/Mohawk. I wonder if he still has his collection? No it wasn't the Carl on the fender of this car. I'm thinking Carl was related though.

Thank you for your kind words, I am David's youngest from the 1st set of kids.  He loved racing and yes his brother Dennis took photographs back then; unfortunately he passed in 2018.  I was the admin on his estate and I found some of the pictures but not as many as we thought we would find.

I believe the Carl on the car was a part owner back then, no relation though.  I will have to double check with my mom, but i believe this is his first car and it was them and 2 other couples that went in on it.
