Big Ant, the creator of the best dirt track racing games for PC and console, is working on a new dirt track racing game! They need input and funding. Spread the word!

My thoughts exactly. This stinks out loud. If I'm going to be investing money in it, I better be getting to test it and give my input as to what it needs along the way. If they already had a history of making decent games, I'd be glad to do it but I've already wasted my money on road to Knoxville and their most recent WoO game and they were terrible. I'm definitely not spending a cent on it before its even done. I'm going to wait until it comes out to see what it's like before I do anything.

Hey guys - Charles from Big Ant here. Weirdly enough I agree with you, the previous games left alot on the table in regards to authenticity, handling and any kind of customization thinking directly of WoO on 360 here. I've come onto the project after those games have been made and I'm dying to have a proper shot at making a game with a proper simulation at it's core.
Think more like the DirtWorksDesigns rFactor mods on console, that's why we have got them, founders of RatBag who made the DTR and DTR games and others to consult on this project.
Dirt racing is going to struggle to get a budget for a console game any other way, I'd be happy to talk about about our plans for the game - rFactor mods will never have a track with a cushion that builds and changes, surfaces that rubber up and get tacky or events where you can configure the grader to come out and rip the surface up.

Thanks for your hard work. I REALLY hope that you can accomplish what you've set out to do. If so, that will be the greatest sprint car game ever. One question, do plan to improve the overall look of the cars? One thing I noticed on the car that was posted on Twitter for Tony Stewart was that it still looked a good bit disproportioned compared to a real sprint car. The frame looks too wide, the wheelbase looks too short and the wing looked way too small all around. One thing that certainly helps authenticity is if the cars can look as real as possible. Once again, thanks for your work and thank you for coming on here and discussing these things with us. It shows that you definitely care about what us the fans want in a game and that goes a long way.

I would hope that this will be a disk and not a download.

rfactor is a great platform for racing in general, but not setup for sprints only. DTR sprint cars was the best on-line game ever. If you do anything, make sure it's setup for on-line racing and more than 8 cars please. Thanks for your work.

This is definitely exciting for any sprint car fans that game. I've mentioned this in the past but the physics of the gameplay need to improve. I have yet to play any sprint car game that has groves...more like a skating rink.
IMO the closest game that has the best physicson dirt is Codemasters Dirt franchise. I'm sure they have more capital than BIGANT but anyone remotely interested in this can invest a minor amount of money, and not hurt their pocket book. I think you guys can do more campaigning or provide more details to get people excited about this even outside of the sprint car world.
I honestly don't care if the racer looks like me, or if I can customize my car.
Give, me practice mode, career mode, and single race mode. I think you have a good platform to work from, from Ratbg, but with the new systems out, obviously things can improve.
One thing that the guys at Codemasters do is get feedback from the racers, rally drivers, etc, which I hope you guys are doing. I'd recommend going to an actual race, in the infield and stands. Sit next to a fan, and also the crew guys. That alone would invaluable.
Keep It Real

Only 22 days left to help fund a dirt track racing video game. If you donate $29 you get a free PC version, $69 gets you PC and Console (PS4 or XboxOne). The more we raise, the more they can put in to the game. Share this with all your fellow dirt track racing fans!
Less than 4000 console pre-orders and we can get this game made. Just over 8000 console pre-orders and they will be able to add Late-Models. Just over 12,000 console pre-orders and we can get almost everything - Sprint cars (winged and non-winged, late-models, midgets, stock cars, audio commentary, etc).
Send this to anyone who likes dirt track racing and video games. I know there are tens of thousands of us. Donation not only gets you the game and an honorable mention in the credits, you can also get your own race team put in the game, and people who donate are included in helping develop this new game.
We can make this happen! Spread the word, chip in some cash, and the next amazing dirt track racing game for PC and Console can be everything we want it to be!!!
