Here's what I know as a 305 Racesaver team with the Southern Thunder Sprints (East Texas/NW La)....

We didn't have sprints 'round here.. until Racesaver. We race at about 5-6 different tracks within just a couple hundred miles. We do not 'invite' you... you buy a car, you bring it, you race. On off nights some of us go to Cowtown, KSP, Kennedale, etc., because we love the challenge in someone else's back yard. The IMCA deal means absolutely NOTHING new to us as a series. The Racesaver motors, after two years for us, appear to be very closely matched in our opinion.

There's alot of great talent in our series (and other Racesaver groups) that just don't want to be involved with the ASCS and feel like we get a 'fair' shake with this series.

For all the haters..... If you don't like something, don't do it! For every negative post there's prob 10 more guys working hard to help something grow. Why you wanna bring a sport down that we all love? Did your momma not give you enough titty as a child? So get up from your computer, turn the xbox off, put on a clean shirt and do something positive with your life! LOL

Please and thank you!

My point was to show a person can pay high dollars if theychose to it does not matter what series or group you race with. To paint me in a negative manner in regards to my supporting 305 sprint cars here is a little of my back ground.

Have 2 grandson's racing 305s

I am on the board of directors for the Midwest 305.

I am the owner of English Creek Speedway that was built from the ground up with the help of Rick Shilling. We take great pride in the fact we will have11 people that have moved up to sprint cars in the last 4 years.

I have also been working with the powers to be at Knoxville Raceway on ways to help the 305 class.

Mr. Ebright,

My post was not directed at you personally (or any other post in particular), in fact, I'm not even sure I read yours. It was a general comment to the all-too-often bitching and complaining that goes on in racing today. I'm not a big 410 fan (love the outlaw shows when we happen to get them), but I'm not going to sit here and bash them. It's a sprint car, I love sprint cars... why would I trash talk one class when they all provide the great excitement I love as a sprint car fan?

I love a good debate, but that is usually not possible on these forums as too many people are narrow-minded and never find anything good in anything at all.

Thank you for supporting sprint car racing!

Dan Thanks for all you have done. I think what alot of people don't want to happen is to have to spend what People like Jamie Ball has spent just to go and race but know its a level field and races will be won by the driver and crew hitting the setup not some high dollar illegal motor.
