Don't think you need to be a member at Knoxville. Everyone that runs a certain percentage of the point shows gets point money at the end of the year. The WoO only lists platinum members who have signed a contract to race all their shows and are the only ones to get point money at the end of the season & tow money during it.

Knoxville website will be updated with a list of drivers who say they plan to race the majority of the shows as teams make these plans known.

A list like that is only possible where drivers are required to sign contracts. NSL sold memberships last year & this year that got members a discount on pit passes & perhaps other perks. But members were in no way under contract to run all or a certain percent of their shows. I believe they sold around 30 memberships but had races where only 17 or 18 teams showed up. So those memberships are useless if you want to know who is going to be racing where every night. I believe most local tracks are like Knoxville, who ever shows up, shows up.

If you really want to know who is going to be at a track before you make the drive & buy a ticket follow as many drivers and teams as you can on twitter. Many post their plans there, maybe not their whole year schedule but where they will be from week to week.
