You are correct that I really don't care what others think of me or my actions. I already know that I am at least 30 degrees off of cool at all times. (Bill Engvall reference) But I find it really hard to believe that there is something, anything I could do to trump Sammy (the charcter he plays at the racetrack) in the Dbag department.
Trust me, I am not out there swearing, screaming, insulting his mother and questioning his wife's sexuality or his kids genetic structure. I boo and occasionally give him the bird (I know he can't see or hear me!) It's fun and if it inspires others around me to cheer even louder for him....GREAT! I really hope everyone comes out to I80 Speedway tomorrow night to cheer louder than I can boo.
Why does everyone have to love everything and everybody all the time? Robin Miller is right, hate is good!
I blame that purple dinosaur.

I like your Bill Engvall's reference to "30 degrees off cool." I gave up on trying to be cool 30+ years ago. To think about the stupid crap I did and wore, as a teen, trying to be cool.....what the hell was I thinking? Lol.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the booing thing, and this is the last I'm going to say on it. It has nothing to do with "loving everything and everybody all the time" (I'm far from being politically correct) or that purple dinosaur (that was funny.) It's out of a love and respect for the greatest sport in the world and those involved with it, from drivers, crew, their families, other fans, and etc. It's not as close knit as it used to be, but it's like family. Do I like everyone in it? No. Are there drivers I don't care for? Yes. Do I boo them? No. Do I cheer for them? No. But they're still family.
