Looks like Volusia and Williams Grove are the only tracks to host an All Star and WoO race so far in 2015. I'm curious for those who have seen both which format produced the best racing and why? Haven't seen the All Stars yet but their new format sounds interesting at least on paper.

Personally, I think the All Star format needs minor tweaking. Taking 2 per heat to the dash and leaving the starting spots up to draw can leave the top qualifier starting 10th or 12th some nights. Conversely, you can time 25th (4th among your heat group) and start on the pole.

It is what it is, both All Star shows I saw were good races. We've talked on this board numerous times on what the best format is, alot depends on what kind of track you'll get for the heats. A format that rewards passing might be great for Knoxville, but might make no sense at Williams Grove.
