Was your computer and all of it's components built in the USA? If not, SHUT UP! And you do know some parts for your great fords are built in Canada?

The computer argument is totally void. I have no choice there. I learned in Kindergarten 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Apparently, Kindergarten was the last grade you passed because about 3 seconds of research will yield American manufacturers of computers. Practice what you preach … or you’ll just be another one of the overly vocale hypocrites on this message board.
I'll even start you with a couple, so you can start the process of throwing your current computer out and contacting them for your new US made computer ...

Won't happen. One thing people like minthess, cubic, and Bob Altman all have in common is that they're really good at spending other people's money. They bitch and whine all the time about their hang ups but when it comes right down to it, they won't lift one finger or spend one dime to help their cause. The solution for them is to bitch on a message board and hope that someone else spends the money and does the work involved to accomplish what they want. Sick of Triple-X chassis winning? Go build your own American made chassis and put them out of business or put together your own race team using all American made equipment with a Ford motor , hire a good driver and go show them how its done.

You should know, this is a free country. There is no law saying you must own a computer. So if you can not find an american built pc then just do not buy one! You do a VERY POOR job of practicing what you preach. You did not have to buy a computer if all your options were built oversees.
I learned in kindergarden it is wrong to bash others for doing something you do yourself.

Same question keeps coming up... Why don't American chassis builders just wholesale in chinese (mil-t/ams spec 6736) 4130 chromoly tubing to slash their prices?
They don't even know how to spell sprint car

Bobby Allen obviosly does not agree with you or didnt you notice that his son and nephew are both driveing the Pa Posse flagship XXX chassis. You act like these chassis guys didnt make any money off their tireless contributions, not to mention these men were not building these chassis with the rich heritage in mind, they were trying to go faster to win more races and sell there chasssis to make a living doing what the loved, stop trying to throw a guilt trip on people who work hard for their money and want the best product for that money regardless of where its manufactured. I'm a fan that wants the sport to be better not devalued to Cracker Jack prize status. Maybe I should support it though. A poor family guy car salesman like me might be in victory lane some day. I won't amount to a hill of rice but I might make it.

I did some research into the computer market and was suprised at what I found. It seems to me that there are companies building computers in this country that need to do some promoting. I will be buying one soon and will definately be checking them out. If the quality is there it is something more of us should be looking for because the prices I found are competetive. I just searched U. S. made computers.

So you are a car salesman. That explains it all. I worked as a collision repair tech at car dealerships for 31 years. That is one stereotype that I found to be true. You can never trust a car salesman. They are all crooked. The imports must be hurting your sales, thats why the rants about china & japan.

plus 1. I talked to my local computer store and he said there are some but built with Asian parts but every little bit helps.

Imports hurting our car industry. Wow!... you're catching on. The whole country will look like Detroit some day if we continue with the Triple X "no big deal, whatever it takes to save a buck, who cares about patriotism, my toothbrush is made in china so I might as well devote my life to a chinese race car too" mentality.

I have a great idea. First we need Bob Altman to build the perfect speedway with all of the amenities he desires....perfect roads to allow for easier entry, cheap gourmet food, nice movie theater style seats with a perfect view of the speedway, lots and lots of freebies for the fans, home built engine incentives etc. Then cubic can get started on welding up some awesome, 100% American made frames. Meanwhile, minthess can get that Ford motor together that will surely blow away the competition. Then you can tow it to Winning Drive Speedway unload it and take on the other 80+ competitors that will be there thanks to Mr. Altman's expert promoting and perfect rules package and in front of the 58,999 fans in attendance, you can unleash your fury on the competition and after you win 12 races in a row and lap the field every week, no one will want any XXX chassis or Chevrolet engines and your conquest will be complete. If you guys are all as smart as you think you are, the fans will leave happy with their hands full of free giveaways after seeing the best racing ever witnessed in the history of motorsports, XXX will be bankrupt and Chevy will be out of sprint car racing altogether but best of all, all the naysayers will be left eating crow.

Awesome post!!! But you left out a few things. Only fans ariving in american cars can park in the super awesome parking lot where everyone has just a short walk to the stands. All fans ariving in any car/truck with an oversees nameplate will have to park in the I hate america or I'm a commie parking lots 2 miles away and take an amarican built bus to the track. Japanese and German folks will be banned from the track because their grandparents were involved in WW2.

Wasn't the ford escort the biggest selling car wordwide at one time? Where would ford be without those sales to people in other countries??? Countries that had car factories that built and sold their own models.

I love everyone but I still favor my country over others, my family over others, sprint car racing over ping pong etc. If you are truly unbiased that is amazing. Few can get there. It appears that you favor China over us though.

No, I just realize we need other countries to buy our products and we need to buy some of thiers. Since xxx chassis are winnig in Pa they must work pretty good. If some teams can' t get a few components cheaper they may stop racing. Being able to get a cheaper chassis that works may keep some owners racing sprint cars rather buying a ping pong table and taking up that sport.
Like I said, people in other countries buy stuff made in the USA over stuff made locally. Those countries have not been ruined by that. Buying american cloths has not caused the British to stop playing soccer or cricket and start playing baseball.
Read my other post, my Dad put his life on the line for the USA. I love america as much as anyone. But I know if the whole world decides to be like you and only buy products built in thier country our economy will collapse.
Your beloved ford sells a lot of cars oversees. And make a lot of money doing that. But by your standards that is wrong. People should only buy cars built in thier own country.
Go sell someone a car and give them a good screwing doing it like all car salesmen.
