Unfortunately, I don't think thats the case, because if it is the person who was called out in the other thread, I don't think he sees himself as a troll.  He thinks he is doing this to convince others that if they jump on board with him, he can make racing better.  Or maybe I just need to stop getting sucked in...lol.  In the immortal words of Herm Edwards "Don't hit send."

I am sorry that  you think of me  in the way   you do  , I guess   my opinions offend you and others  . For  that  I regret  you don't   take me  seriously  or with merit  regarding my posts  on this forum . Obviously  my choice  of words  or writing  is not up to your par  . As   I said before  my  only  reason was  to post  items which I felt  may provoke  thought  and opinions , or  whining  as  you call  it  . I  am sorry   if  most  of you  are  satisfied  with  the  status  of  racing  , events, or  track condtions  , I am not , even though   I  am passionate  about racing  as  you all are  and  enjoy most  all events  I attend accept every now  and then  we  all  attend  races  that are not up  to par .

Actually it is because of stuff like you just posted! You say you are not satisfied with he status of racing today then say you enjoy most of the races you go to and that every now & then we all draw a dud. 

Live in the real world. It will always be that way. Not every race you go to will be good. Has every Super Bowl been great? Should the NFL start changing everything because the last Super Bowl sucked?

I'm just happy I live close enough to Knoxville so I can go there every week knowing I have a 95% chance of seeing a great show everytime I am there. I wish it wasn't a 5 - 6 hour drive to get to so many of the other sprint car races in the midwest. But I am greatfull for what I have. It gets old having people like you condem all races based on the few you see. You keep saying all 12 mile tracks need to go away. That would eliminate the best sprint car track in the world. It would never get the fans to come if it was cut down.

Folks may take you more serious if you would give very specific suggestions of what you want to see at the TRACKS YOU ACTUALLY ATTEND instead of just generalizations about all racing. 

It's easy to say this or that track/series does not do enough for the fans but harder to say what they need to do different. And you NEVER SPECIFY WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO DIFFERENT. That is why you are called a troll. Your posts a designed to just get responses, not comments on ideas. Because you post no ideas to comment on.

Unlike Oswald, I don't have Knoxville anywhere near where I live.    Most of the tracks here are dominated by the IMCA classes and other stock car classes, although a few of them do run 305 sprints.   I don't like any of the IMCA crap, and I certainly won't sit through all of that to see 305 sprints.   Therefore I choose not to go.   In the end that's all the average racing fan can do.    I think if I went to the promoter of one of these cookie cutter 1/4 miles they have here and said "hey, I don't wanna sit through these other seven or eight classes to see sprints", I'm sure I would get absolutely nowhere.   I think if 100 fans went to that same promoter with the same statement it still would have little impact.  

If you have an actual plan for getting the tracks to change what they do, then you need to express that specifically.   Otherwise this is like the old conservatives that sit behind a computer all day and just forward anti-Obama or anti-democrat e-mails to all their conservative friends who never voted for Obama or any democrat to begin with.   And just how effective is that???

You ask everyone else to move along and not take him serious.  How are we to believe you and take you serious ?
