SUBJECT: The company we keep...

It gave me great pride to host Smitty51's return to the Fabulous...Nice to see you finally cash in on your Golden Ticket... wink

BigRightRear, whose a fixture in AREA 51, made the tow as well...I'll say it here due to the fact that I don't text, Happy Birthday... Smile

On this rare weekday fiesta, we were able to find room for the world famous race car driver, The Sultan of Sidewinding, Rohan "The Slowman" Beasley...  :o

Other notables that were spotted but not visited, Steve Smith, Crazy Joe and Van May...Although I didn't actually see Van, his car was parked in the east lot as if he drove it in Slideways...  :/

more to follow...

SUBJECT: Pride

I can't express enough how proud we are of all the drivers of the 51's...

MacMayhem...Fisrt sub 13 second lap with the new weight rule...Super impressive...

Stevie...Parlaying some home cooking into a reunion on the frontstretch...Family first for the first family of Lincoln...

Faster Freddie...Two standout moments...First, the save in 4...HoF worthy...Second, getting down and out of the way when the leaders past...Veteran move...Shows he listens to his coach, mentor and Father...

Couldn't be more proud as a fan then last evening of all our guys... Smile

SUBJECT: Nicknames

As anybody who knows me will tell you, the ONLY thing I know about racing is that everyne needs a nickname...

The Nickname Committee conveaned in AREA 51 last evening and a few came out of it...Here goes...

Shame Stewart...It's a shame he brought out the caution for stopping in turn two...Shame Stewart...

David "Crush and Run Gravel...If I have to explain it, simply disreguard and move on...

The Flying Submarine, Austin Hoggie...If you haven't heard the name before, he's a front runner for 410 National Rookie of the Year...Bookmark it...

scribble currently being decoded, more to come...

SUBJECT: The Competition

Pittman...Parlayed a 4 year degree at Posse U into a WoO Championship and a low man on the podium finish...Nicely done...

Steve Kinser...Missed it by that much...I think Lincoln would have given him one of their provisionals if the WoO didn't...

Sammy...He should be required to install boat lights on his car to warn the competition that he's dropping anchor...Just sayin'...

Shark Racing...Definately Outlaws...If they were Posse, they would have made the show...

Double D...Karma Baby...Nice charge at the end...

Bents Parts...More bent parts...

The Port Boyz...Representing with a second place finish...

Jac...Smitty was smitten by your effort...Nicely done...

The rookies...Faster Freddie and The Flying Submarine, Austin Hoggie...You never forget your first time...

Montieth...I was rooting for him...To finish no better than second...

Schatz...I don't have any notes on him but, he's the best thing going now, therefore, you gotta at least mention his name...

that's an up to date decoding of the notes for now...

Great report. I assume BRR rubbed off on you to make a little update.

Does Sammy's car come with the big orange triangle on it like the golf cart's at the Nationals? And does it also come with the tall orange flag? We in the Midwest are curious.

Too bad David Gravel isn't from Little Rock... that would be a natural nick for him.

Great race at the Pigeon Hole,  glad to be back after a 3 year hiatus.   Despite some regulars playing it down,  I thought the track was in great shape.

Thanks for the hospitality Stan,  I owe you a few.

I found great joy in being able to yell "go Freddie"!  Almost as good as the local fan who was yelling go Pittman when the Wild Child was on track

If Stevie runs good enough to earn a ticket to Knoxville,  I may just get 1 too.

I didn't see BRR rubbing off on Stan.... No comment

BRR did well with the Schatz ring toss though

SUBJECT: The Response

Big J...I wasn't around when BRR use to file his report...As I understand it, he became bone weary of the mental gymnastics of the responders, therefore, it went away...

Phil Taylor...I don't get it and please don't try and explain it, I'll just move on...

Crazy Joe...It's a cheese burger, don't try to get out of buying that piece of cheese... wink

Next stop...The Pink Hair Lady's Cow Palace...Enjoy...Smile

The reward simply did not match the effort...BRR Reports took too much time to capture the full effect of a night of racing and I did not want to compromise the quality.

A big part of the entertainment value was watching folks become agitated when the report did not include soft comments on their favorite driver...particularly the ones called out for "inadvertently" putting another competitor in the wall.

Super Chuck really misses hearing who was (or wasn't) "Laytonized" in the BRR Reports.  That term still comes to mind whenever he sees that name.  wink

Safe to say the defintion continues to hold true?  From that angle looks like Ely didn't stand a chance.

And before this sparks a HUGE arguement, let Super Chuck be the first to say it must have been a "racing deal".
