I went last nite for the first time this year and was impressed with the track and the Champ Sprint car count. Having only ONE WRECKER SUCKS and wastes time and the intermission is way too long. Besides not only did I get to see some racing, I also got to see some pushing, shoving, and swinging and almost a fight and I seen it all with my good eye. LOL Sorry I ain't David

Unlike Whitworth, here is my observation from both eyes. Although that statement could be debatable.

First off, when I pulled into the parking lot at artound 6:45, I was please to see the pit area rather full. What really impressed me was the twenty champ sprints on hand. What disappointed me was only fourteen modifieds and eleven factory stocks.

Also, I don't care what track it is. I do not like intermissions. Be it ten minutes or fifteen or thirty or whatever, I have never cared for intermissions. Except when racing series are the only class running and they need time to make out feature lineups then that is understandable. So with that said, that is my only negative of the night but that would be for any track. And they all seem do it where ever I go. This year it has been Wichita, McCool, Nebraska, Batesville and Lebanon, Missouri.

Impressed that the mini stock feature went non-stop twenty laps and it was a very fun race to watch. I saw modifieds that, for the most part, I was unfamiliar with and they did put on a good show. Somebody needs to go to town to stop the Johnny Reed factory stock from winning. I was hoping Jeff Rozelle would be the chosen one but he fell short. Johnny "Hot Rod" Kents flip into the catch fence entering turn one scared me and I have seen alot of sprint crashes. Wish Fabian wouldn't have spun in turn two and collected the five cars it did but it happens. Once it all got going the sprint feature was good, just Larkin was better.

The #13 factory stock dude is lucky he didn't get cuffed on the backstretch. If that was any other cop and he bumped into, it would have been over.

Summary, I just wanted to get out of the house and finally make the first trip to Brill Motor Speedway this season and see some racing. It had been a long week with my brother coding twice at OU Medical Center and not knowing if I was going to lose him at anytime so rather stressfull. Mark Brill has come along way with the track prep and that surface was the best I have seen it in a long time. I was in no hurry and enjoying the night by myself and definately had fun. I do hope and trust that Mark gained the attention of the Tulsa champ sprint guys (Creek County had them off for the night) and he will get more of them for the rest of the season.

In closing, get out and visit Brill Motor Speedway one night and just sit back and enjoy a night of racing. I know I will be back if I am not out of town anywhere.

I have been the last 2 Saturday nights watching and was impressed , Mark has got a handle on the track , staying smooth and dry last week and semi dry Sat. night and also looks as if turn 4 has got some banking added to it to help keep you from going out to the wall when up top or at least it looks that way from the stands, like Mike said could use another Wrecker to help the one lone one out when ya got multi cars disabled on the racing surface, Pretty good racing last 2 Sat. night s, Need to get Ice Tea in the Concessions. All tracks should serve Ice Tea like Cowtown and Devils Bowl and OKC, I like Ice Tea, Good stuff. Wondered if the official and the 13 car crewman was going to go at it on the back stretch when the shoving match started during the Factory heat.

They were just acting a fool cause they can't beat us unless we break something, it went further in the pits and ended just as fast, I am sorry when someone can't hold a line and runs down on ya in the corner as you are passing low it is thier fault and only thiers, just like last week when we went to pass on the outside and he shoved us in the wall, they can't beat us and it makes them mad, and don't make Johnny mad like they did Saturday night cause he will put a bigger A$$ Whoopin on ya when he is mad he drives it harder and on a mission, but he will and does go to win everytime we show up, if we break something then they might beat us, that is how we have been beat this year in the Factory Stock, I am tired of the 13 FS bunch always crying and whineing it is always others fault when they are always at fault, and we are not the only ones who are tired of them, just ask the rest of the FS Driver at BMS, Well enough of my rant, it is pretty easy to get up front and stay there when u start out front as we always are in the back, but we get to the front in a hurry, and without running other cars over to get there, ok enough said before I really go off on a certain race team....We are just that good Face it...

Sounds like HIGH DRAMA at BMS in the Factory and Modified world. Maybe a group hug would be in order. LOL.

No Drama just you alway's have some certain one or one's at every track, that are just cry babies, & when you win to much well that makes matters worse, it is just the same bs from the one's stated above since last year, it just gets old hearing the same crap over and over, I am usually the one on here who is polite but I have had enough, with a certain 2 people that we have to see each weekend and each time it is the same old bs, oh well what do you do, just go on and put the hammer to the floor, and keep winning every chance you get. Come on out all as the last weeks are winding down, should be more great & exciting racing, Mark & crew are doing a great job out there so come and show him support...

When your shoving officials on the track as the guy with the 13 did and nearly come to throwin punches , THAT"S DRAMA no other way to put it and when ya got hate and discontent for one another as obviously stated on and off the track with the 1J and the 13, that is HIGH DRAMA. I'm thinkin you all won't be going to the IHOP on I-40 after the show on Saturday's and swappin stories over a stack of Hot Cakes anytime soon. No Drama , c'mon , It's HIGH DRAMA at it's best, reason is I sat and watched it from the grandstands for the last 2 weeks and can see it on and off the track, clearly 1J has got the better car and a thumpin motor and can get around the place in a hurry. But NO DRAMA , C'mon.

JD, you were there? I sitting in the stands all by my lonesome (but I guess that is a good thing) and you don't get my attention.

You need to get your car out there JD, might be safer there than Lawton ya know.

Yes I was along with Mike W. , We were sitting down on Lawn chair row as Mike is still a little banged up to take the stairs and sit in the grandstands , so we brought Lawn Chairs and sat down on the dirt floor, If I would have seen you , you could have sat with us and took it all in on the dirt floor, The 71 could make an appearance in the future at the dirt oval north of Meeker. Got to get a few things cured on it before then , nothing that a little money won't fix. LOL, So far from what I have seen Meeker is getting it together.

A dirt floor and JD by your side on a Saturday nite at Meeker. You can't get better medicine than that. Sure wish they had iced tea. The way that the 1J sounded and pounded the ground, I think ole JD wanted that motor for his sprint car. LOL

Haven't ever seen J.R. jr. drive dirty. Now if you're slow and in the way he'll stay on your tail til you move or he can get by and he will because that car hooks up like it's on rails. From everything I saw from the stands, the 13 crew needs to do some setup homework and check the attitude at the gate. I'd like to see someone give Johnny a run for a close race, but whoever it is better bring their A game for sure. We'll keep watching the drama or whatever from the high stands... the skeeters ain't as bad up there wink

It's nice to see them admit that Johnny Reed Jr has a temper & will take it out on whoever gets in his way.  That doesn't sound like a clean driver to me - sounds like he just wants everything HIS way or NO way.  The text below is a quote from Danny Waller Jr:

don't make Johnny mad like they did Saturday night cause he will put a bigger A$$ Whoopin on ya when he is mad he drives it harder and on a mission, but he will and does go to win everytime we show up

Well yes shot fired, and before you accuse read the facts, he is one of the cleanest drivers you will ever see and one of the best drivers you will ever see, and he does not rough other cars up to get to the front, just come out and watch the races and you will see, and yes the motor is a thumper, but it is legal we have torn down to show every driver in the Factory Stocks what we had, we are not hiding anything, and don't accuse him of not being clean or having a temper, if you have never met him or know him don't accuse, until you meet him or see him drive then shut up.... Come meet him and see him drive then state your case, have a nice day...
