On the Donny Schatz post by "Tinybubbles", I had mentioned that I had only been contacted by a handfull of fellow hosers, half were hate mail from MSPN (which I still have all of them) and the other half were from people who actually talked about racing.

Well, today was a day from hell for me. My lovely wife suffered a stroke today at 42 years old this morning and after spending over 14 hours with her in ICU I get home to take care of the kids and send an email out to family memebers on what happened... Look at the first thing I get to read.....I am posting this so that you can see Mike's true colors. This is the same Mike that called me one night contemplating suicide when he was going through some troubles in life. The same time he asked if I could me burn him some CD's of his favorite songs, all this when he was "my friend". Remember Mike? I took them to you in Sedalia. Yes, I was there for him, but I'm sure he will deny it. But look at what is has come to.

Out of respect to Mike (MSPN), I posted my response to him, sorry for the language that I have NEVER used in this forum.

In closing, this is the last post that you will see from me in this forum. Life is too short and today reiterated that I don't need this petty bullshit. While I will continue to enjoy the sport of sprint car racing, I don't need the Peyton Place crap that this place has come to.

First and foremost, thoughts and prayers towards your wife. Hope everything turns out okay with her.

Second, I'm thinking you're letting the emotions of today's happenings come out in this post. This post and the posting of the emails is uncalled for.

You're right in some of the things you have said about forums not being all that important in the grand picture in life, but outing things personal to MSPN and parts of his past, as well as his private email to you is wrong, in my opinion.

It may be rocky between you two at the moment, but doing as you've done is pretty low.

I hope after everything gets better with your wife, you rethink your decision and post once again, but at the moment, I think MSPN is deserving of an apology.

SprintFan 16, You have it backwards. MSPN owes Hawker an apology. How much do you know about MSPN? He is a delusional goof who was never anything but a weasel and parasite at sprint car races. Ask around. "Piece of s___" is an accurate description of how he has always been in person, on this message board and the Williams Grove message board. He is a "piece of s___" in the "hate mail" e-mails he sends other members of Hoseheads message board. I've been a member here for more than seven and a half years. I have received less than two dozen e-mails from other Hosehead members. Like Hawker, half of my e-mails were about racing from various members. The other half were "hate mail" from MSPN that were full of lies, venom, threats, lunacy about who he thinks he is and even the "f" word.

You have your work cut out for you. I truly hope that the stroke was caught in time so that she doesn't have really bad results. That can be so frustrating for both you and her. Bless you and your wife. We're pulling for a full recovery.

One more thing.

I guess I am naive enough to believe that most of the crap and derogatory remarks on this forum are mostly tongue in cheek. I was hoping that most of it was just teasing and good natured ribbing. I know that there is never a time that everyone can get along... but when there are relatively so few of us pulling for good dirt track racing - I just thought we'd all pull together, eventually.

I still hope that is the case.

I will admit, I don't know a damn thing about MSPN minus reading his posts on here and walking past him on the way into Knoxville a few times (never talked to him).

From his posts on here, I can't take much from his character, and yes, his email was way out of line and if he's done it in the past he's way out of line too, but there's a major, MAJOR difference between privately emailing someone with hate mail and publicly outing someone on a message board.

If you're going to point the finger at MSPN for starting wars in the Posse threads, the finger equally deserves to be pointed at the pro-Posse gang (Cubic Dollars, BRR, et al), as they equally start their crap in threads all the time.

Once again, I hate debating in a thread that has undertones as serious as they are for Hawker. Once again, I hope everything works out for you in this case.

Your lies, exagerration, BS and personal attacks got you the responses in private and that's where it belongs. I found out your true colors years back and I have ptitied you since.
