We had 17 with 2 more out with engine trouble that didn't make it. Not sure how many Santa Maria drew. Heat had to be a factor. Taking a weekend off to regroup? - Ron

With Rico gone, is it safe to say the 0 car won?

Golobic passed JA on lap 28 for the lead, then on the white flag lap, Golobic ran low in 3 & 4, however a back marker slowed him enough for JA a run on the top, and it was a drag race to the finish with JA nipping Golobic at the line. It was a race marred with many spins, wrecks, tip overs and reckless driving. The last 2 laps were the most exciting.

Golobic is a wheelman. Him and Tarlton always put on a show at Watsonville.
