...just announced Lasoski is back in the 1z for 2013. I'd guess it's the best chance they have for a Knoxville Nationals title.

What happened to the Lasoski/Forbook marriage? Thought that was all but a done deal. Can anyone give some info?

If they want to do good at Knoxville they need to run several K'ville shows to get their act together, just an opinion.

so, Smith remains in the 19? I thought there was a thread mentioning he was out? or going onword? I would have assumed he might be back in the 1z if that rumor held water?

It was a rumor because someone saw them emptying the shop in Ohio. The 19 team is still in tact with Stevie as the driver. They just moved the shop from Ohio to CJB's shop here in PA where the 51 and 19 will be housed in the same shop.

From Ibracn................
BAD NEWS FOR THE BANDIT ....UPDATE #2
11/21/2012
UPDATE #2 - FACT - (11-21-12 @ 8:00 am) - I was listening to the November 20th edition of Winged Nation (great show) and Kendra Jacobs shed some light on this rumor. She has been looking into this rumor and found out that the Ohio shop that has housed the CJB Motorsports #19 car has in fact closed up. The shop is now empty. All of the equipment has been moved to Pennsylvania and is sitting in their shop there, sharing with the #51 team. Now, it is everyone's guess as to what is going to happen from here on. According to Kendra, her sources state that this team is NOT closing down and that Stevie Smith will still drive the Black Bandit #19. Jacob's states that there is no word on the schedule or what the exact plans are. Only time will tell.

Lasoski did so well in the Zemco car last year, so this only makes sense.

Lasoski had 12 A feature wins last year including a WoO win while not in the Zemco car. Certainly wasn't the driver. They will rack up quite a few victories if that car can stay on the track. They ran in to a ton of bad luck last year.

It's terrible getting old!
Not only did I miss the Lasoski/Forbrook marriage...it appears I also missed the annulment!

We all remember how fast the Zemco was in 2009 on Hoosiers. Hope Leppo falls into the 27.

WRONG Slink on most parts of your post. CREW CHIEF let go, PR Man resigns, Shop in OHIO cleaned out and EVERYTHING is in a shop MILES AWAY from the 51's shop. Stevie is starting over WITHOUT help from Clemons, with nothing definate yet EXCEPT THAT Stevie is basically starting over. The stuff from the OHIO Shop is being liquidated. Clemons people CLEANED OUT the Ohio shop without help from Stevie's crew. HUGE DIFFERENCE in FACT VS FICTION. There is huge distance between Clemons and Stevie, and this is by design. And remember, Stevie's original plan, as designed by an owner under investigation for a PONZI scheme, was to run the full WoO schedule in 2013. Luckless, this will not be happening for the Black Bandit 19 at this stage of the game. Kendra painted a prettier picture, but please remember that the former crew chief of Stevie's deal is married to a family member of hers. Most of her "findings" are flawed also. Granted, Stevie may derive a Black Bandit 19 deal in 2013, but I highly doubt from developments over the past few weeks that it will be with Clemons as the owner.

Holy cow,I'll need a padded cell to bounce off of after reading the above comments, whew!I can beyond utterly confused now,I 'm afraid to comment for fear of a truthful fact coming out,its like watching Mission Impossible. As far as Danny in the Zemco car yes they had some bad luck but that car is still capable of kicking butt on any night with him or without him, that car can run,as far as Leppo in the 27 if that happens it will be short lived, watch.

Smith is actually trying to make the 19 work himself using the 27 motors. Luck never paid Stevie so for his share of earnings he is allowed to use the truck and trailer until the government comes and gets it. problem is no one wants any where near the equipment until the dust settles! It will get ugly just google the Durham deal. The guy owned the bus operation and also the trailer business (united trailers) and he was doing the same ponzi deal and is going away for awhile.
