28 cars.

Heat 1: 1. Kaley Gharst; 2. Skip Jackson (in Mark Burch's 1M); 3. Korey Weyant; 4. Matt Sutton; 5. Matt Rogerson; 6. Brian Hetrick; 7. Joe Beaver. Beaver pulled in on lap three while running third and was done for the night.

Heat 2: 1. Sean Walden; 2. Tyler Thompson; 3. John Schulz; 4. Jordan Goldesberry; 5. Justin Newberry; 6. Jimmy Davies; 7. Tim Moore. Moore pulled in on lap two.

Heat 3: 1. Rager Phillips (in Plath 14P); 2. Russ Hall; 3. Lance Gullo; 4. Bobby Mincer; 5. Matt Harms; 6. Dan Avery; 7. Bart Andrews. Andrews brought out a yellow and pulled in at lap six.

Heat 4: 1. Ryan Jamison; 2. Josh Schneiderman; 3. Larry Pinegar; 4. John Hall; 5. Jerrod Hull; 6. Travis Porter. 93 did not start. Original start was called back for a jump by John Hall from the last row.

Dash: 1. Gharst; 2. Jackson; 3. Russ Hall; 4. Jamison; 5. Schneiderman; 6. Phillips; 7. Walden; 8. Thompson. Gharst drew a 4 pill.

B-Main: 1. Hull; 2. Hetrick; 3. Harms; 4. Rogerson; 5. Andrews; 6. Porter; 7. Newberry; 8. Davies; 9. Moore; 10. Avery. Beaver and 93 did not start. (His first name was Jamie I think.)

A-Main for the late models was won by Brian Harris from the pole, followed by Andy Eckrich, Jeremiah Hurst, Jason Utter and Chad Simpson. Hurst actually led much of the race and Harris passed him late.

A-Main: 1. Hull; 2. Jackson; 3. Schulz; 4. Schneiderman; 5. Russ Hall. I want to stress these are NOT official results. I do not have a sure finish on the rest but here's what I think: 6. Pinegar; 7. Rogerson; 8. Mincer; 9. Gullo; 10. Jamison; 11. Weyant; 12. Walden; 13. John Hall; 14. Harms; 15. Sutton; 16. Hetrick; 17. Phillips; 18. Thompson; 19. Gharst; 20. Goldesberry. Again, NOT at all official on the rest of that field behind fifth. Could be wrong. We'll have to see how good I did when the official comes out.

Here's what happened in the feature though: Gharst, who started fourth, got the jump on polesitter Jamison and outside Schneiderman, hit lapped traffic at lap six and built a gigantic, seemingly insurmountable lead. At unlucky lap 13, just as Gharst started to slow on the low side of turn three, Goldesberry flipped wildly through the metal catch fence in that area and went out of the park. He was OK and the chain link fence caught the car from going out into the fairgrounds driveway and into the house across the way. Throttle linkage was unhooked on Gharst's car and he did not restart. That gave Jackson the lead. At lap 16, Thompson brought a yellow when he backed into the wall in turn three. That set up a fabulous three way battle for the lead between Jackson, Phillips and Hull, who had made his way from the back. They came to lapped traffic again at lap 21. After taking the white flag, Hull wrestled the lead from Jackson in turn two and held it for the win. Phillips faltered coming to the checkers, stopping in turn four before he made it there. Fantastic race, great crowd, good track and fireworks after. Also, Nick Eastin was spotted sitting in the grandstands.

Good to see you Mark, Marvin and the 1M at WLR and your right about the race track. That was a great race with Skip on the top and Jerrod on the bottom and Rager in the mix too. Great racing!

Great race, best I have ever seen there. The 3 way battle after the red was excellent. Oh and Knoxville give Liberty a buzz and find out

where they are getting their pork tenderloins. Oh my god are they good.

The Late Model lovin farming fans didn't know what to think when that car took out about 60 ft of fence and went flipping out of the ball park! You would have thought they saw a UFO by the looks on some of their faces.

Great night, glad I went.
