There is a nice interview with Scott Gerkin on the WoO site. I've said the mid 90s were the best time in our sport. He mentions 95 being his proudest year which is what yielded the most intense season ever in 96. I still marvel at the talent and intensity that the Kinser camp had all together pre 95.

racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint

I have allways said Scott learned everthing off Karl Kinser and still one of the best crew chiefs on Outlaw Trail !!!!
