You have a point when you say congress shares more blame than the president for the budget.

In 2005 before the dems took over complete control of congress the national US budget deficit was around 318 billion.

remind me what it has climbed to after the dems had not only full control of congress but also control of the white house.

Try to twist those facts.

As a union man and a union supporter you must be very proud of James Hoffa for threatening to "take out those sons of bitches" when referring to people who disagree with his political points. He called union members his "army" against them.

Your dear president has called for less violent rhetoric, yet in his speech after that, he failed to ask Hoffa to tone it down. Obama is fine with violence.....as long as it come from the left.

I condemn the person who called Obama the "N" word. There is no reason for that. The color of his skin has nothing to do with his inability to lead. It is not because he is black that he is an idiot that can't see the damage he is doing to this country.

Most of the stuff that comes out of Media Matters and Daily Kos are disingenuous to say the least. They are funded entirely to discredit the GOP and anyone who supports them.

You have posted quite a few links to try to show GOP or Fox News lying. As i said, a number of them are out of context or have been show to be misrepresented.

I can put all those links to shame and show you just who the liars in the media are with just one link that has not been edited or taken out of context by those who oppose the views presented. It does contain editing and misrepresentation though. Watch and see.

I don't belong to a union any longer, something much better. I'm working in facilities at my community college, and that means I'm basically a state worker; and since I'm single I don't pay a red cent ($300 deductable) for top of the line insurance that includes dental, and a optometrist of my choice. Just doesn't seem fair, now doe's it? Oh yes, I was vested in the state retirement plan after 5 years here in AZ (A VERY RED STATE), and now their matching the money I put in, and have put in, and the interest I'm getting is phenomenal! Oh, and of course I have free life insurance as well. I'm not going to tell you how many paid day's off I get a year, but I can think of about 6 weeks just for starters. What's happened here is we've came in on the shirt tails of the Republicans who run the show here in AZ, and as far as benefits are concerned, and though they don't give a hoot about the masses, they sure take care of themselves, now don't they?

Like i said, Obama is against violence, unless he is involved in it. He is also against the policies of George Bush, except for the ones he continues.

What do those videos have to do with anything that I posted? I never defended MSNBC. In my opinion they're just as guilty of the same garbage that FOX is. It's like you posted them thinking that I would be offended that someone would attack the liberal side of the media. As I said before in this thread and several other times when political discussion arises in this forum, I'm not a liberal. Any doubt about that should be discarded by reading the quote in my signature line.

I'll give you the video with Hannity. It's questionable because the camera has pulled away by the time you hear him say it but, the fact that it is his voice is beyond doubt so, he's labeled someone as a Mcviegh wannabe at some point. You show me where it really comes from and if it's not being used in a devisive manner (good luck with that...) then I'll retract it and apologize for posting it.

I posted the Reagan video because the people on the right in this country practically worship at the man's memory then most of them advocate policies that run counter to much of his doctrine. Much like some posters in this thread that have already argued against unions. This doesn't mean that I'm pro-union. I'm simply showing their hipocrocy.

Another fine example of selective video editing would be when FOX posted video coverage for one of the rallys in DC and used stock footage of a different rally to make it appear that there were more people in attendance. I could post links to the proof of that one if you'd prefer.

Well Glenn Beck just had a rally in Israel. The lefty blogs were showing pictures of the rally that had only a few people there. They were ranting that Glenn could not draw an audience.

The thing is, the pictures they were showing were of the venue an hour or more BEFORE the event.

If you are so unbiased and not liberal, how come you can't offer up anything other than liberal hype and liberal talking points? Why are you like most other liberals and embarrassed to admit it?

I just posted a link to something that showed a very flagrant piece by a very liberal news organization that shows the left lying and distorting the facts far more than anything you have been able to present.

Yet you are all upset that I added some balance.

What, you can post things that show conservatives and conservative news media in a bad light but i can't respond with things that show the liberal media in a bad light? The fact that the piece i put up came from MSNBC has nothing to do with picking on MSNBC in particular. It just so happens that it is the best piece that shows how the media on the left lies.
