LOL, LOL, Too funny - I just noticed your user-name "Hambone 28" - Did your boyfriend tag that on you? LOL LOL

Did you mean "deserve" rather than "desire"? Probably one of those Freudian slips, you know "desire" and the hambone & boyfriend thing. LOL LOL OMG, Too funny!

Id like to get karens opinion on this.

The report on Karen is that when she woke up from her self induced coma she decided she didn't like sprint car racing, or Tyler any longer. In fact she stated the she was going to move to Alaska, " That's where the real men race dog sleds".

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller has/had vertigo and has been out since February. He's just recently been cleared to begin playing again(preparing for next season).

Wishing the best for Tyler, hope it isn't as serious.

The ironic thing about it is that half of his hecklers posting on this board are probably sitting in their den half hammered. I have been guilty of posting in that condition more than a few times. wink

I have a friend who has vertigo. Diziness can come on at any time without warning. It's nothing to laugh at. I would hate for a driver to suddenly get dizzy going into a turn at speed with other cars around him.

I am one of the nay-sayers in all of this, and this press release still doesn't change my mind. I never said he didn't have vertigo. All I said was there is no way he was released outright from his ride, after winning the king's royal, from a 7-10 day case of vertigo. If it was, then Keen Motorsports either has no brains or no patience at all whatsoever. But, I am going to go with my original gut instincts on this. There is more to the story or the relationship between the two was either rocky or going sour. Not saying anything was done illegally by Tyler, but maybe things weren't too great between them. Like i said on another post, I too am an employer, and i would never let one of my top guys go because they may or may not have a medical issue. I want them to have a doctor tell them that it is a long term or career ending injury or illness before i am going to permanetly replace them. Best of luck to both parties in the future.

Since you are so positive in your statements, I am assuming you have researched vertigo, its symptoms and duration! Correct?

More than one race driver has suffered from this problem and it is often linked to multiple crashes. Vertigo has removed drivers from the cockpit for a year or more even though improvement in the condition can occur within a few weeks. Some drivers have never been able to return to the seat fulltime.

I've been around someone who had very mild vertigo and it was nothing to laugh at. The condition took over a year to clear up completely.

I would expect the Keen Motorsports team did their research and made the best decision possible after considering all options. How, when, and why are not really anyone's business except those directly involved. So, I don't see why it is so difficult to accept the information that was in the PR distributed by Walker and Keen Motrosports and leave it go at that.

Oh, that's right! There's always that keyboard kowboy thing!

I live with vertigo from head injuries related to racing. I also have herniated discs in C4 and C5 so mine has multiple triggers. In short, this week has been a bitch but everyday is one day closer to being through this episode and usually this only happens a few times a year. I am saying this so some of you understand people without a drug or alcohol past can be severely affected

Tyler is fortunate his is inner ear related because that seems to be more "cureable" than when it's from a brain injury. Healing times and end results vary so much because it is carries so much that is unknown. No two are ever the same from the research I have done.

Why can't some of you show some humanity and atleast give him the benefit of doubt now when he is undergoing treatment for vertigo. If he was diagnosed with Cancer would some of you still be such asses? I hope he doesn't have any of the other issues he went through in the past because he will need strength to get through this. Busting his ass now isn't going to do anyone any good.....Unless your life is so pitiful that belittleing others is the only way you can feel better about yourself. But, that would mean you'd have to admit to yourself that you're a loser.

You know, I do have a right to my opinion. I am not saying that everything that is being said is not the truth, BUT, IN MY OPINION, it is not. I Know folks with vertigo also. Not fun from what I see them experiencing. Press release says he will be ready to race possibly as soon as 7-10 days? I think i would have waited for a prognosis on my driver before i released him. And, if i were Tyler, i would have waited for a prognosis before i quit. (don't know which of those two happened) I don't know why everyone thinks i am bashing. I am not. I am just stating my opinion, which includes no slander or hearsay (though i did quote a couple of other posters and what they say they saw) . I just don't feel we are getting the whole story, and I don't ever care if i hear the whole story. If it is the whole story, I will eat my words and I will think that the whole thing was very strange if vertigo is why he lost or quit his ride.

I have had the positional vertigo that T Dub has. Usually you wake up some morning with the symptoms cause by granular crystals in the inner ear, left or right but not generally both. There is no way you could drive a sprint car in this condition. The treatment that worked for me was to self induce the dizziness to the point that your brain stops reacting to the crystals moving around. As nauseating as it sounds it does work as a fix. Example. If I set on the edge of the bed and rapidly flopped over to my right side the dizzy feeling was intense, making you puke. If I flopped over to my left side there was no vertigo, hence positional vertigo. Sometimes they come back. My vertigo lasted 2 weeks and I have not had a symptom since 2007.

I was coming off right shoulder surgery at the time and was sleeping on my left side constantly causing the calcium crystals to settle in my left middle ear tube.
