Nice try, but the WoO guys had their way with your boys tonight!!! Heck, even Lasoski and McMahon had their way with you tonight.........that tells me and the rest of the world that you guy's out there are nothing than a bit more than average................geeze, even your hero Fred had to take a provisinal to get in the show. Too bad some farmer from North Dakota is better than your full time runner's in PA land

cant much disagree. BRR can't reply tho.........he's too busy weeping up replies for his now lost arguments with MSPN. WHy the man could not just be proud of his local racers who knows.......instead of actin like they're the best on the planet anywhere, anytime. Guy is damn lucky to see such good racin in such a fine place..........but all he can do is say they're better than anyone else who comes to PA. Everyone crossed their fingers........and.............well they're not. Schatz is on fire and not even a PA snow shower could put him out right now.

Bottom line.............PA Posse just got their a$$ smacked in 2 str8 nights on the track they had their best chance on. Guess the argument of who is better on PA tracks is now over at least for this portion for awhile..........I do hope that brr wasn't in too much pain watching the whoopin..........hopefully he is good enough fan to enjoy the racin action.

The Outlaws proved again why they are the best...........this time in Posseland.

1 word.........owned...........nuff said. Schatz was methodical, calculating, and fast. Lostkoski leading from the pole and Donny ran him down like a criminal and passed him like a 360. I am told that Donny even visited BeerHill after Thursdays victory. The PA cars had only enough to make a few travelers sit on the trailer and watch. Regroup for July I guess. A fine 2 days as always.

We will now turn our attention to the POSSE horse in the Preakness for some face saving.wink

...the WoO champ (for the SWEEP), The King (won earlier in the week in a different part of Pa. that does not count), Lasoski, and the "bass boat" take the top 4 spots on the final night at The Grove......AND a "no-star" wins on "posse soil" / neutral ground / bad track (whatever the flavor of the day is)...all within five days of each other...ouch !...

Tree Stand Observations: good thing Bill Rose went back to Indiana...otherwise it could have been even more emBaRRassing to some...LOL !

Sarcastic Moment: WOW !, what they say is true...those posse guys can make a lot of money winning all those races in PA...

WTF: are the BRR Reports returning this season ?...

...sorry bud, looks like Ohio and Iowa are not the only states the Outlaws are handing out ass whippin's...

Don’t believe all the hype, these are still your Mother’s (MSPN) Outlaws, not the brutal force that has been locking locals out of the front half of the field in places unknown. Even though our big dogs struggled, our bench was still deep enough to give them a run for their money anyway. Only in Central PA. Some Outlaw teams will still be feeling points sting of watching from the trailer for weeks to come. Hats off to Schatz. I hope he wins the championship.

Look, it's not the first time the Outlaws have done well at the Grove, history (& a great PA stats man) tells us that the Outlaws are winners at the Grove nearly 80% of the time. Heck, a decade ago they won all 7 shows at the Grove with Sammy and Mark winning three each and they won every show in '95 as well. They also win every show at Hagerstown, Lincoln and Grandview in those years also but that is to be expected as they have owned every other track in Posse country for the most part save the Grove.

Maybe they are setting a trap and will be in Victory Lane at Grandview next week, to me that would be an upset and be definitely be a story.

BRR will come on and tell us that Donny has a Posse crew and that's the reason he won just like he came on and said he wouldn't win without a Posse crew chief, the spin hasn't even started but it's gonna be a tough one this time, lol. Bottom line, everybody had a good time, these wounds will heal and Donny earned many new fans hangin' around the Tilton Hilton late into the night on Friday, a great weekend so far. Take It Easy.....

PS The Posse has OH Speedweek to come and show the non-believers that they can achieve success off the porch, it isn't the Outlaws but they need to start with a smaller bite before they tackle the best in the bizness......

Wow! A rough week for the posse. Send a full team (Hodnett, DeWease, Rahmer, Esh, Leppo, Nouse and others) to Bedford, a neutral track in Posse country and get smacked by the All Stars. Then have more All Stars show up in their home state than posse at Lernerville and suffer another tough night. Finally, back home on the blessed soil, and still unable to bring a plan to fruition as the WoO boys dominate. Top finishers for the posse types aren't even from PA and/or sharpened their trade with traveling circus's from parts unknown. Those known as FOAW now known as foAWOL.

Head cheerleader last seen scouting bridges from which to jump, funny how on last thread prior to WoO arrival head cheerleader accounts for nine posts, Cubic, Single, Clint and others account for numerous others, all of them posting multiple times. But where are they now? I bet had the shoe been on the other foot, this site would be filled to the brim with their chest thumping.

In drawing near a conclusion here....my favorite post of the last few days.......from a posse cheerleader, though not one of the big two.......

Must deal in reality. Bill Rose at Bedford! No Posse speed-bumps at Junkerville! Then Thursday nights results at the GREED! Tonight, there is always prayer! Look for a Posse re-group, when the Rose-Stars come back in June (can you say slaughter house). Build to a WoO revenge match later in the year? Maybe I'll win the Power Ball Jackpot? You never know! E-Mods.

At least he faces reality, congrats for that. I'm guessing every posse cheerleader is thinking the same but dare not put it in writing. Funny stuff, that since you certainly can't beat the best, then for certain chest thump and be ready to tell the world how you manhandled the rest on the tracks where you always do. We'll come to your tracks and take our beatings like a man if that is what happens and has been the case. Hopefully it will make you feel better about this week that was.

Finally, my reality is that while teasing a few of you, as a racefan and realist, I understand how tough the competition is in your neck of the woods. While I still prefer my location and proximity to numerous types of racing and big events, (not to mention the best fishing in the world on the fabulous Lake Erie) I will admit to being envious on a few occassions of what you posse folks have going for you.

I'll grab our scales and see you in June!

Have a great day and enjoy life!

I realize it's a little twisted, but I actually feel MORE confident in our boys. The Outlaws drug two series worth the top notch race teams in here and we still managed to nearly split the field even without Rahmer, Dewease, or Esh's help, same as ever. FOAW has always meant something around here, as does Outlaw caliber, we have at least a dozen such race teams. Also, tire rule must mean a little something, enough that Saldana stepped on it during time trials anyway. Heading to Grandview with high hopes, factory dollars won't do anyone any good there. The Posse is overdue and Outlaw provisionals are running thin. Game still on.

Drak is so right....owned, beaten, used....Game, Set, Match!! But I don't agree with the PA boyz being in shambles. To me so far this season it has been one of the best in recent memory. We've had great car counts week in and week out (mid 30's), and the playing field is very level right now. Up until this past Thursday and Friday (thanks Donny....j/k) we've had 7 races at The Grove and 7 different winners.

Our guys are tough and even though they are licking there wounds right now, they'll be back at it again tonight. And I asure you, they'll be giving it hell the next time the Schatz Tour comes to town. Overall a good two nights of racing watching the best traverlers vs. the best local contingent. Great to hang out with friends before and after as always.

Thank goodness the All-Stars come in June....(just kidding Bob)....we welcome you guys with open arms as well.....

Till next time....Go Lance....(as he limps to The Port tonight)..!! wink

Usually this "we're the best" attitude can be attributed to "small wiener syndrome." Psychologists all agree that when a certain part of the male anatomy is inadequate people with this syndrome compensate by bragging about their favorite sports team, cars, homes, boats, and in this case Posse drivers.

My take on PA is that they've got some good weekly Sprint Car racing and talented drivers. I'd be happy to have that much Sprint Car racing in my back yard too but defending them as the best would only result in frequent meals of crow. Some people with inadequate manitalia have a hard time sitting back enjoying things without boasting. Even if PA drivers were the best in the world is that going to make their day to day life any better? I found out a long time ago that the sun rises and sets the next morning on cities that lost the Super Bowl just like it does on those that won the big one. LOL, Minneapolis and St. Paul are still here so the Vikes didn't ruin that for us but if they would have won it wouldn't have made any difference in my quality of life. I enjoyed watching those seasons regardless of the final outcome.

Cubic still doesn't get it and never will, dang!

FOAW has NEVER existed and there are no signs of it on the horizon either, there are some in Knoxville though. Your future is really your past, Lance, Fred, Greg and Todd still dominate and the youth is scarce, that's a shame.

You have great and plentiful weekly racing but that has never been contested by me or others. It's the attitude that you are the best or can beat the best that has always been a sore spot for me. Be a fan, be a cheerleader, but most of all be realistic and see things for what they are, regardless of where you are.

As for high hopes at Gradview, if the song remains the same you will be lucky to get more than a couple of cars in the top 10, that's the recent history of the place. It does offer a chance to save some face though, but please don't try and spin things if the form holds. It's time to respect the best in the bizness for what they are, the best in the bizness. Enjoy, Take It Easy....

I don’t think we’re better than the top Outlaw teams, but I do believe we can beat them. Nothing wrong with that. Our top teams are better than a majority of Outlaw teams. Starting at the back of the heats and features a hundred times a year has its privileges. We win our fair share of Outlaw shows, usually split the field, and the DOY poll backs us up whether you do or not…lol.

O.K. So Custer & the 7th did better at the Little Big Horn than the "press-clip" reading Posse! Out of the ashes comes hope! Fast timer-Chris Meleason! Limited experienced youth, with absolutely a "low-bucks operation" (i.e. shit-box), busts his ass on the track every time he races, sets "fast time" against the Lords Of WoO! A (the only) "shining" moment! E-Mods.

sorry for the late response, i stayed at the track until 3:45 and had a great time except for these nasty side effects from too much Red Bull.

Schatz won both nights with no horseshit, luck when he needed it and good driving...thats what makes a winner. i dont know who works for him, maybe you can ask Mulligan - but they did their job and got it done.

the FOAW set the standard both nights but do not have the experience to make it stick with the high dollar travelers are on hand. top names take provisionals and the field was split between Posse and WoO just like most other nights here, but the posse veterans did not rise to the challenge as in previous years. Meleason is just a kid and when the "One Lap" deal was put in place, it did not bebefit the away team. i guess Nelligan had to type something to make himself look like a dumbass!

coach - did your teams race on Thurs and Fri? or just lose their maps? we expected to see Paulus but the entire AS roster must have been porched!

comment of the night goes to the tower when Johnny said: "Donnie Schatz gets a huge burst off speed off the bottom and blows by Todd Shaffer"...when in reality, Shaffer jumped the cushion and slowed the car to avoid the wall as Schatz crept back up to speed from the dust in 3-4 just like the previous 10 laps. manufacturing excitement from an otherwise uneventful race is a tough job!

fans who paid on Thurday got their money's worth.

Smittie made the right call last night!

BRR, if you had any clue at all about sprint car racing you might know that many of Schatz's team ARE from PA, lol. After saying he hasn't done anything since his crew chief left you look more like a dummy every night, sorry. By the way, how did I look dumb when I said they might only qualify one lap, personally I thought I hit the nail on the head, guess you can't figure out what being right about something is all about, so sad.

Cubic, your best might win a few on the road but not much more, ask Greg Hodnett about the road on the Outlaw tour. They would be fighting for a top 5 most nights and finishing in the top ten a little more often. Neutral ground like Florida and Knoxville show us where they are when it counts and it ain't up front save for split field nights. You have Wed. night to make amends, it can still be done but the odds in Vegas would be double digits and then some. Take It Easy.....

if lowering the bar for yourself to do a belly flop is hitting then nail on the head then hit yourself on the head more often!

they ran 2 laps thurs and only 1 lasy night and the WoO still couldn't get a QT, matter of fact there were some interesting names in both nights D mains. the track needed water last night and got it from mother nature in the late afternoon, that may have contributed to the 1 lap decision, or maybe this is how the WoO hopes to speed up their "shows". we know for a fact that the track received several complaints on thursday for dragging things along. i expect them to piss around, but i guess others are getting the shits of it.

Schatz won, i gave him credit both nights and you still figure out how to lose your mind...there are many crew guys from PA because we actually have enough racer each year for a crew guy to get experience and take a ride on the circus wagon.

it is fiunny how you hedge your bets by lowering expectations and then ramp it back up after the results are in...i posted NOTHING this time claiming domination...only hold that our FOAW are the strongest in the country as i have for years. they made the presence known with much better TTs than the stars...no big deal, it pays about the same as going out business.

cubic really knows how to push your buttons...not sure why you cant claim victory without getting all pissed off about it!

Enjoyed the post Coachbob and take nothing away from Schatz, he was the man over the last 2 days. Regardless of who won, Thursday's racing was much better then last night as the track took rubber and the track sucked. One of the worse surfaces I've seen in a long time. NOTE: That is not an excuse, just an observation. Congrats to Schatz, it's been a long day which is the reason for the late response. I'll still be at Lincoln for the open cockpit triple header tonight. Who needs the outlaws? lol! Go Brian/Cris!
