Put the pipe down there boy, sheesh. Your local home grown talent was pretty non existant last night and let's not forget that Shep-Dog has NEVER considered himself Posse unless you wanna count his 'Maryland' Posse quote from Victory Lane a few years back in FLA. Have you been taking 'spin' classes from BRR? Fred's winless streak at the Grove approaches one year tonite, whoda thunk? Take It Easy....

PS The rest of the country moves up the ladder to compete with the best which is generally why they get steamrolled, it's a shame that concept has never flown in PA were the weakly warrior is the town hero.....

Non-backward thinking individuals (ie: non-Canadians) might also deduce the reason the likes of Allen, Smith, Weld, Opperman, Wolfgang, Hodnett, etc, came to Central PA was because it's one of the most competitive/lucrative areas in the country for a race car driver to set-up tent… the same reason the likes of Rahmer, Dewease and Hodnett have decided to stick around. Lucky for us, unlucky for the Outlaws.

Mulligan Moments: prediction of 2 words PILL DRAW meant absolutely nothing last night...FOAW had the 2 top TTs, Leppo was early out (2nd quick) and Lucas was in the last group (QT). 13 Posse / 13 WoO spilt field as usual - Shep DOGGED alright what happened there? did he run out of fuel?

Tree Stand Observations: Dollansky + TBAG = DNQ - Madens gets lapped - Lasoski finishes mid-pack - Kville regulars ran 14th against the WoO at home a few weeks ago...parity or parody? you make the call.

Red Carpet: Historic Posse Car - Weikert 29 - returns as a part time ride and overcomes crashes and adversity for a great run.

Fast: Saldana - spun out in lap 2 of TTs but was the fastest car on the track all night

Half Fast: Rahmer - front row fade gives up a dash start to Schatz

VL: Shatz credits breaks that helped him into the dash...after the race he finally got a Beer Hill T shirt....funny fireside chat...oooppss!

FOAW: Montieth goes over the edge. Lucas rides over TKs flat tire /whitewalling. Leppo wheelies from 3rd to the work area. Krimes misses race trim after starting 5th in the A main.

Lipton on Ice: TBAG takes the night off...1 or 2 motors?

WTF: last time the outlaws were in town, Hodnett was in the way of the leaders while getting lapped (lost 77 ride days later). last night he forfeits a front row win after leading the race into traffic...after a very close call when he missed the 4th turn Madsen / Leppo spin by inches.

Summary: Schatz worked for the win and had luck on his side with 35th quick TT (if you can call 35 a quick time), Saldana came up a lap short, Hodnett was two laps over the limit.

He he he..................just another normal WoO finish...........WoO regulars top 2.....hell, they even gave your guys a head start!!!! I'm sure MSPN will be along with further updates. Try again tomorrow!

I usually try to stay out of the Posse/WoO argument because it became old years ago, but since you directed your post to all Posse fans, I will just make a couple comments. As much as I strongly disagree with MSPN's opinion of PA racing and the PA drivers, at least he has been here to form an opinion. Have you, or are you just trying to be a troll from 1,500 miles away?

Central PA is still the only place in America where a fan can walk out his front door and see 80-90 nights of 410 racing within two hours of home. Amazing that a fan from a place where the tracks don't even have 410 racing tries to talk smack on a place drawing 35 410s a week this year.

How can someone compare the Outlaws in 1978 or in the beginning to todays stars? I love spint car racing but there is no comparing the two. Racing was alot tougher then , just look at at A main line up. You are looking at many legends and or heros in 1978. They raced all over the country just to win.

bowdown Nice play by play as usual BRR. Nice to hear the thoughts of someone who actually goes to the races every once in a while, unlike the Canadian. Also, what the heck is wrong with the 30 team this year?

Watching Kinser have to race his way into the show through the B-main last night makes you wonder.

Posse! Posse! Posse!

Cubic, has your brain really turned to mush? I have been to more Outlaw shows that BRR will get to if he lives to be 200 years old and you know that. I have seen the Outlaws in three different States this year and have likely travelled more miles in doing so than most porch dwellers will all year long.

It is pretty ironic that when I was hitting 100+ shows a year I was wrong and now that I've retired, left the country and don't go much anymore you have the same criticism, lol. Delivering you the facts is the real problem for you cheerleader types and not taking the medicine when it's dished out is so cry-baby of you and your kind, priceless. You might want to worry about your hero's team as well, from the front row he let somebody come from the 5th row to beat him, that tells the story right there. You got another bandwagon to jump on, you were a lot smarter when you only posted cut and paste stuff, it might be time to rethink your strategy or accept reality. Take It Easy....

I think it is 2-0 OUTLAWS and I do like some of the Posse drivers. And they still have a chance to win one on this swing but they do not compare with the Outlaws at any time .Most of the Posse top dogs have tried to run with the big boys and they ran back to the porch.A couple of wins here and there may make a great career with some awesome stories to tell but not an OUTLAW LEGEND. Just remember, once a king always THE KING. That is KING KINSER!!!

BJORN -

You say..."How can someone compare the Outlaws in 1978 or in the beginning to todays stars? I love spint car racing but there is no comparing the two. Racing was alot tougher then , just look at at A main line up. You are looking at many legends and or heros in 1978. They raced all over the country just to win."

At that time no one knew those guys were legends....

They'll say the same thing about Donny, Danny, Joey, Meyers, etc...in ten or fifteen years...

I'm not sure how it could have been tougher back then when one guy dominated...

To me, the more parity there is...that indicates how tough guys are now.

I'm not taking anything away from the greats from the past at all...but give credit where credit is due. There are some top dawgs out there right now...guys that will be legends in years to come.

(I am not associated with NOSA...just a fan)

Somebody has to add this, the first time those guys came to PA for an Outlaw race they got beat. The driver, Lynn Paxton. Those guys did alright the rest of their career though, lol! Go Brian/Cris!

Made his career but a legend?(Maybe in PA?) Just Kidding, I have heard of this race car driver before. The Outlaws have been beaten a few times over the years. I know a couple of guys who have done it. Even one guy in super modified. Please I do not want to start a big arguement, just thought I would put in my quarters worth. I have seen a few Posse drivers race in my time, some real good ones. I love all sprint car racing! Especially wings!!! I hope you get the race in tonight and good luck to your favorites(Leppo&Eash?).Have Fun!

Must deal in reality.  Bill Rose at Bedford!  No Posse speed-bumps at Junkerville!  Then Thursday nights results at the GREED!  Tonight, there is always prayer!  Look for a Posse re-group, when the Rose-Stars come back in June (can you say slaughter house).  Build to a WoO revenge match later in the year?  Maybe I'll win the Power Ball Jackpot?  You never know!  E-Mods.

for once its all the crap talking between you guys has a point to it. Because the WoO ARE in PA. And when ya'll spend as much time as you do bickering at the end someone is going to look like an ass in the end.......although in a way all do for bickering so often in the first place.

I don't care to chimn in on the Posse/Outlaw/Knoxville/etc comments but I do have one question...is there really a part time Weikert Livestock 29 running this year?  If so, who is driving, who is owning, who is crewing, and will they run the K-Ville Nationals?

Car is owned by Barry Jackson (JEI Chassis). This is the same team that Jeff Shepard finished third with in the Knoxville Nationals a few years ago when the car carried No. 8. Kenny Jacobs is the current driver, but the team is only running big shows.

The car is currently painted to resemble a Weikert No. 29 because last Saturday was supposed to be the Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal (rained out). The team probably will go to Knoxville, but I doubt the car will be a Weikert replica for that race.

Single it would be nice if it was. Wolfie is still a God around those parts and he enjoyed no success like he did with the Weikert's car. There are enough old timers there that would buy T's and the likes alone methinks, here's hopin'. They couldn't have found a better guy for the spacer job either. Take It Easy....

PS Danny Smith told me many years ago that he was a spacer and his job was to sit in the space between the steeering wheel and the seat.....

Nice post, Mike. Enjoyable to read your opinions when it's not just the same ol' argument.

there is a rumor floating that the Weikert car may run select races.

OKC - you are doing more bickering than i am...excellent field of cars - average turn out for fans - light pre-race rain

Schatz wins

Todd Shaffer makes the dash for first itme in years

FOAW - QT both nights

Best Action on Fri - heats, track rubberized from top to bottom for A main, two grooves - slow lap times.

Kinser runs B

Saldana runs the D

Chad runs the C
