That is truly a gut wrenching video. But it highlights the perils that the founding fathers of automobile racing had to contend with on a constant basis. And without it we would not be where we are today. Thanks for the link.

WOW!!! Quite a video for sure. Looked like an awfull lot of drivers left the car. Safety has come a long way, thank God.

The one really fiery crash was my wife's grandfather "Duke Nalon" in the Novi at Indy. He survived the crash with many burns.
