If you missed today's Winged Nation, then you missed a statement by Steve Kinser that left us speechless!

Also...we ponder if Cody Darrah winning in Pennsylvania would be considered a win for the Outlaws or the Pennsylvania Posse? Let us know at twitter.com/wingednation or at facebook.com/wingednation.

You can listen to today's show here...trust me...you'll want to hear what Steve had to say! http://www.motorracingnetwork.com/Media-Center/Audio/World-of-Outlaws.aspx

What did he say? Sammy has always been the real King?

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

AMEN!! Always a great listen.

This show will be message board fodder for quite awhile, I'd be willing to wager.

I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Are you going to be doing any interviews coming this year with any drivers from the new KWS? I really hope so. They are doing a great job out here pumping up and trying to resurrect winged 410 racing in Calif. once again and could use all the support! Great job Kendra....love that you guy's give sprint-car's a voice along with the other major racing associations.

Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

I think...not sure...the comment they are talkin about is SK saying he would/could/probably wont miss a couple of California races (Tulare and Hanford..I think) so he could attend his sons college wrestling tourney. But since he drives for someone else he probably wouldnt.

Excellent show!

I remember racing go-karts against a young Kendra in Sidney back in '93 or '94 during HBO week at Eldora. (pssst, that's Kenny's daughter...don't wreck her)

Hodnett is Posse...'cause he said so. Darrah is Posse...cause he cut his teeth here & has won here already. Sammy isn't Posse...but he's not an Outlaw either.

I think Sammy is actually a "outlaw"....he isnt running one series but picking and choosing what races he runs. I remember seeing Hodnett run with the Outlaws before and always thought he was a real smooth driver. Very fast, clean, smooth driver. Not gettin into the outlaws vs posse....Hodnett is just damned good.

Sammy is now and ALWAYS has been an Outlaw, nobody has defined it better over the years. Ran where he wanted to, when he wanted to and continues to do so, the best example of an Outlaw in racing. Take It Easy...

PS Greg made a wise decision years ago when he couldn't make much money on the big tour but had enough talent to succeed on a weekly basis and when he moved to PA he officially became Posse. He won more races driving better Posse equipment against the Outlaws than he did running full-time with them...

This is some good sprint car racing banter! I love it! Keep it coming...we'll talk about it on next week's show.

Also...I am a TERRIBLE go-kart racer. So I apologize to anyone whom I embarassed that day (notably my father)!

Looking forward to next week's show...we'll be talking some West Coast sprint car racing!

If picking & choosing your races makes you an Outlaw...then by all means Sammy is an Outlaw. But I'm pretty sure I have a victory lane interview DVR'd where he said he wasn't one....just sayen!

Sammy isn't a big fan of the World of Outlaws, hasn't been for many years and that is what his reference is. Nobody in sprint car racing is more of an Outlaw these days. McCarl was, as was Lasoski back in the days before they joined the big tour, Gary Wright used to hop around Outlaw style also but those days are gone. Sammy is fortunate in that he has a car owner who lets him make most of those type of decisions, hopefully that doesn't change. Take It Easy....

of coarse the posse is going to claim darrah, even though they always tell everyone else that once you go out on the road with the circus and run with them any wins are out law wins. i guess cali gets to claim all jason meyers' wins as cali wins.

to indy and beyond!!
