Leonard West has recently acquired this frame. Supposedly it came from the Fayetteville, AR area. The floor pan has the name Larry M and the #29. Anybody have any ideas on the frame. Does the name Larry M ring any bells. Can we come up with all the Larry M's that raced open wheel and match them with #29? That is more than we have now. How about the number 29. He would possibly like to restore it to whatever it may have looked like. We have to get the history and photos of it though. Sounds like a pretty tall order LOL. Not real, how many Larry M's can there be and how many Larry's drove or owned a #29.

With several hundred to thousands who view this site I bet we can come up with something more that what Leonard has now and that is probably not much. It could have come from anywhere. Many people move to NW Arkansas and retire. Think about the tracks near Fayetteville, AR.

Mike Pogue has the answers! Mike is a collector and restorer of these cars. He also has the largest collection of photos of this area.

"With respect to the Face to the Frame post, the frame in question, found in Fayetteville, AR, is one run in Tulsa (arond 1974) as a modified by Larry Malcomb. I know I have a still photo of the car and will send it your way as soon as possible, or you can have the new owner contact me via email. The car was built by Gordon Mosley. Gordon Mosley always built every thing himself, actually it's nice that another of his old creations survived.
At one time in the 1960's more than half of the cars running at Tulsa were letter by Mosley. He teamed with Pete York for many years. I believe Mosely lettered many of John Zink's Indy roadsters.
I remember the body on this car was metal and likely weighed about as much as the stock frame rail chassis."
