Dear Joe,
I'm in 100% agreement with you. I hope everyone reads the Interview with Don Kazarian. It tells the whole story. The success of sprint car racing in California is the formulation of a policy or series where all tracks are involved, based on one racing format. The traveling series forces competitors and racers to go from one track to another gaining points and bringing fans and racers with them to other tracks. That is where the revenue is generated.
It does no good for any body on this board to bad mouth anybody else or any other series. If people cannot even visit a board with out getting booted off or bad mouthed, why would anybody even visit the race track.
We are all emabassadors to this sport. What we say and does make a difference and determines the fate of racing in California and in the United States. If we all remember that when we make comments, me included it will go a long way to bringing in new fans and promoting and atmosphere were fans, friends and foes alike will come to compete and enjoy a family nite of sprint car racing.
Sincerely, and best wishes for the holidays.
