Ok I was listening to the radio " your the reason god made Oklahoma" and yes I do understand that it was meant to be about two people that have lost loves. However, I have always thought that god was a sprint car fan,ok sorry stock car fans.

However, I have always thought that Oklahoma had the best short track racers in nation rather it be sprint cars. mods, or what not. We have not always had the best PR to get that out to people that we are the best. It was not the fault of the racers. But however many of us can name at least two to three people from the state that we thought that desereve to be at the top of the rung in racing.

As we go forward in the new post SFS era we need to recongize those drivers, in no matter the class, that can show the world hea we are Oklahoma and we can turn out racers.

If you have listen to the color on a NASCAR race they always talk about how dirt racers can handle a car on a slick track. In the new image of Oklahoma racing, I know I will upset some, I think we should push hea look at what we got. Lets show the nation tht a bunch of hillbilly redneck racers can compete at the highest level no matter what divsion.

That way we can hold our heads high and also we can show Mayor McCheese that dirt track racing is a benifit to the citizens of Okc.;
