I heard the state is going to audit the race track. You know those fairboard members have to sweating bullets. All that cash that goes through there. My guess is that if the truth comes out about how they deal with it, there will be more heads that roll. Maybe then we can find out the truth about how big of cheaters these guys really are.

Does anyone else get tired of hearing randon accusations and baseless rumors spread around. I guess that slander doesn't mean much on post boards.

I'm not too sure about ALL places but in Okiehoma they don't wipe....they just change their undies every Saturday! ![Wink](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)
If they are "glued on" then they take a shower to loosen them! ![Smile](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)

A private firm has been hired to do the audit. The State or Fed only audits your taxes, not your daily books.
Since the Raceway is not run by the county (The county owns it, but leases the facility to the Marion County Fairboard), it is a "for profit" business, not a state run "non-profit"
As far as the ticket price goes, I remember paying $15 to get in to multiple tracks more than 15 years ago to see far less quantity and quality of racing. Didn't complain about it then, don't plan to start now.

If I lived in Knoxville I would be the first one in line for those weekly $15.00 tickets...and feel very fortunate! ![Smile](http://www.hoseheadforums.com/images/Main/smile_100x100.gif)

fairboard members financial thefts at the Casa Grande track caused it to shut down for the past two seasons. There were big races there and it not only hurt the drivers and fans, but a lot of employees lost work. The city has probably lost a million from hotels, shopping, food, gas, etc......

Hell, I frequently drive 210 miles for the $15 ticket and feel fortunate!

Steal money from a speedway? Holy cow! The Juniata County Fair-board employees (that's Port Royal Speedway) make it up with free pizza, hot dogs and golf carts as the perks! Can't wait for someone to step-up and go for free funnel cake! Gotta draw the line. Lock'em all up! E-Mods.
