Some folks take some things that others do WAY too seriously...if Johnny announcing the game scores really bothers you, stop listening to Johnny and Dirtvision.
It's his show, and if you don't like the content, change the channel!

When I want sports scores, I tune into ESPN, or watch the game. When I want to watch a race, I don't tune into ESPN (anymore), I tune into Dirt Vision. Why would any race announcer feel that it is their duty to announce sports scores to people who put that part of their life on hold to attend, watch or listen to a race? In this day in age, I can get sports scores in a matter of minutes on my phone. But better yet, I also have a DVR that I am most likely recording that game on too. It seems that the stands at most races are looking kind of scarce these days, and I'm sure that the number of people subscribing to Dirt Vision has also taken a hit in these economic times. So why would you do anything that might piss people off? If the people at the race want the scores, let them use their phones or just wait until they get home. But for those of us who have subscribed and put the game on hold that we could very well watch instead of the race over the net, it sucks and it spoils it. If you're going to announce the score, at least give the people some warning so they can mute their computer.

I think thats fair, just say "folks mute your sound I'm going to give scores". Was he giving updates and results from other sprintcar races? Probably not, as they aren't WoO sanctioned. But, neither is NCAA Basketball. I say keep up the great job announcing the WoO and only the WoO that way nobody gets butt-hurt.

I thought it was great to get the NCAA scores. Good job Johnny! Are you from Kansas too?

mild child ? are you serious? LOL you appanrently forget to watch the R19, regardless, when he's back position's he is always on the move ,Ive Never, repeat NEVER, seen somebody bike a car (on the top) in Knox! and keep it running forward like nobodys buisness ! , 50+ so what, still wild, quite the entertainer, theres a reason his T-shirt trailer is well stocked a buisy , Im not a big Haud fan but give credit wher credit is due and if its just a nickname, well (this one) I will not argue with it, In fact I like all the nicknames If you go to the beer line you hear real colorfull ones , Anybody remember "TheKid" nickname, thats one that has outgrown? As for Gibson announcing scores , ya , a little tip to the fans to ignore, or plug your ears, would be helpfull. but, thats JMO
