I think your yellow highlights should read "might be higher if not for Pennsylvania handicap," considering most of those drivers wouldn't have had near the success they did if they were running against the best night in and night out. And most from midpack? Sure. It pays to pass PA weekly drivers who are grinding it out, compared to passing guys who can drive and with the best equipment in the world on a variety of tracks. But, keep spinning it how you want. That's fine.

Notching three out of the top seven says otherwise. If the Outlaws wouldn't have broken sprint car racing to the point where Central PA was the only local place left that can somewhat afford to do it, they would be even more disadvantaged. Starting at the rear of heats and midpack in the feature 100+ times a year a racer makes...time trial specialists need not apply.

What is this, a post from a 13 year-old, "my daddy's stronger than your daddy, wa wa wa wa". Posse competition factor". The self-serving editing is downright funny.

You can think what you want, but if you are under the impression that Rahmer, Hodnett, Dewease, and Posse Etc. would put up the same numbers running full Outlaw tour, then you're incredibly delusional. Nothing more needs to be said.

This has the usual posse spin from the usual voice of the posse. Consider these guys:

Chad Kemenah: (alternate ???) 46 wins including 2 wins during PA speed week in 2009; consecutive All Star championships in 02,03,04, and 05; 3 WoO wins; 2006 WoO rookie of the year; Ohio Speed Week Champion in 2002

Brooke Tatnell: (unless this is just for Americans) 54 wins including wins against several different series in the US and against weekly competition at Knoxville; Aussie Champ in 05, 06, and 07; World Series Sprintcar Champ in 00, 01, 06, 08, and 09; Warnambool Classic winner in 2009

Brent Kaeding: 52 wins; King of California in 01, 03, and 2007

Byron Reed: 38 wins including 5 against the early 2000's All Stars; 5 Attica track championships and 3 Fremont track championships cannot go unnoticed if you consider the REDICULOUS inclusion of Mark Dobmeier. in my opinion the weekly competition in Northern Ohio rivals only that of Central Pa., thus making Reeds accomplishments far more impressive then dominating a decade at Husets

Let me know when the Outlaws leading feature winner Saldana doesn't have to use a provisional every time he comes to Central PA anymore.

Let me know how many Posse wins were against the Outlaws in this decade and THEN let me know how many of those wins were NOT at Williams Grove, lmao!!! The Posse raced them hundreds and hundreds of times (as a group) and produced how many wins??? Somebody please do the calculations and this guy will likely be never heard from again.

One track wonders against real competition and mid pack wins against weakly competition, anyone with a half a brain knows the reality of this deal and the rest live in PA. Nice timing tho', Florida has embarassed the Posse for a long time now and it will likely continue the next few weeks. Neutral ground is the last two words this man ever wants to hear because it's brutal for the Posse and their cheerleaders. Take It Easy....

PS If anyone bothers to do the calculating and posts it first I will gladly send them some photo souvenirs from this decade, should be a fun project....

PPS When doing the above research we'll see about what Joey Saldana has done against the Posse on neutral ground, especially Florida, it will make somebody look REAL foolish after a moronic comment like above....

Senility must be a bitch...posse has won quite a few races in Florida, Charlotte and Knoxville in recent years. Nice 9th place finish at Ocala for Schatz, racing in Australia all winter really paid dividends. Maybe he will be up to speed with Rahmer (4th) or rookie Cale Conley by the end of Florida speed week...

handicap......what a load of crap! You know 3 friends and i were really thinking of trying to hit the Penn.Speed-week this year, but after listening to this self righteous diatribe being rambled on here we might have to think otherwise! You guy's really know how to alienate yourself. Being from Cali. and wanting to check out the PA.Posse scene had seemed like a fun idea, but now were definitely thinking otherwise. I could only imagine being in fisticuffs with some of these wankers on here, because of the their pompous attitudes. We were looking forward to meeting some of the beer-hill gang, but instead a few of the self righteous one's have made that seem nearly impossible because of their loathing towards other racing areas in this country. Now we may just have to hit Lerneville(since you guys don't consider it Posse territory) for the Don Martin, Kings Royal and the Brad Doty instead and spend are money elsewhere.

Kinda of bummer since we were looking forward to possibly seeing some Posse racing out there to see what all the fuss was about. Oh well at least we will see ALL the regions of the country represented when were at the Nationals again this year.

Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

Just curious.

What exactly do you consider the "midwest handicap"?

Cubic-How does a racer racing in is own state handicap him? How is it any different than the Posse staying in PA? We have small tracks, you have big tracks! At least our drivers have gone out to race in other series and do well! How many wins does the Posse have at tracks outside of PA versus the WoO?

I have to agree with Rj5150 that I really don't have any desire to go visit Posse country because of the way you think you are soo much better than other areas of the country! I went to Lernerville a few years back and really enjoyed myself- oh but wait- that isn't a Posee track even though it is in PA!

TK having a CA handicap is pretty funny! Why not put Jason Meyers having a CA handicap too because he also got his start racing here and still races here when he has time!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Tarah, email me your home address or phone number and we will figure something out. How would you like to do Lasoski, Dollansky and McCarl as well for some bonus pics?

Joey has more wins by himself that Rahmer, Dewease and Hodnett combined, AMAZING, lol. When some more stats come out I will hope that somebody knows cubic well enough to put him on a 911 wacth, he's gonna need it. Take It Easy.....

midwest handicap=questionable competition.

proof=McCarl with 117 wins and 8 titles ranked behind Hodnett.

So you are actually saying his win total is higher since he had questionable competition?

If he would have competition like the outlaws or posse on weekly basis, his win total would have been a lot lower?

If this is what you are saying, I totally agree with you.

You folks need to read the article on how they came up with the list. Personally, I like the list as it stands.
