I was bored and came up with a system to show which qualfying nights are more difficult. Red drivers are the class of the field, orange have potential to win, and yellow are wild cards. Red is worth 3 points Orange is worth 2 points and yellow is worth 1 point. With my list Thurday night is harder.

Not to nock your list, but what about Dustin Selvage and Tim Crawley?

Also, Garry Lee is looking strong this year where he races in his new ride aboard the Ochs Brothers #1x out of Western Kansas. And don't forget he is a former Knoxville 360 Nationals champion as well.

Like your setup though, pretty cool.

I like the set-up as well... can't argue much with Thurs night, and I agree that it is tougher. I would add Crawley, Jack Dover, Ryan Roberts, and Scott Winters to the yellow mix for Friday night. Is it Thursday yet!!?

Might want to move Clint Garner to the red for Thursday night. That car seems untouchable on a weekly basis on Knoxville. Agree with Chilly. Crawley, Dover and Roberts need to be added. GO #57 and #21

Dustin Selvage needs to be orange....and Jonathon Cornell could win the thing and doesn't have a color...

I agree - nice setup. Thanks for doing it. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Clint Garner has to be a favorite to win it...he has to be red. Cornell is also very likely to have a chance to win it and not colored.

I won't name names, but you have many drivers colored who don't have a shot...i can't help but think you are giving them too much clout because of their names or status in the 410 ranks. It's much tougher to be in the know on the top 360 drivers because many don't run 410's much or at all.

I tried not to be bias but it was near impossible, so some drivers may have not gotten ranked correctly because of that.

You have a great Idea and a bit of a controversial post here, Maybe you could have 10 drivers in the red, 10 in the orange and 10 in the yellow that way every one picks the same number of drivers for each color and each night of qualifying for the points. Or am I not getting your idea? Just my thoughts.

On a deal like this I tend to look at the strong teams who run there every week. Tim Crawley is tough but I am not sure how much time he has at Knoxville. Gary Wright has had a heck of a time at Knoxville until recent years, Jason Johnson used to run there every week in 2003 and 2004. Look at all the regs that have won the 360 nationals either 12 or 13 is my count.

He is running his Dads car just for the 360's. He will be in the 2W for the non wing shows and 410 Nationals. Should be doing double duty on Saturday as well.

Pretty good job man, the only one you didn't have in your top 5 was Tony Bruce who was swapped out for Greg Wilson.

Is there a better format in all of racing than what they ran last night!

It had everything for everybody. Qualifying, heat races, inverts.

50+ cars from the start of qualifying to checkered flag in about 3 hours! Points for everything to line it all up is intriguing and with the exception of the guys who had something break or crash it pretty much showed the cream rising to the top plus a few who weren't given a chance were there too.

Plus it was fun to track the points all the way through.
