if somehow we do get to race.....and the track is not threatened with rain throughout the day. I would suspect well over 40 - and maybe approaching 50. of course David is right - with such high rain chances - 25-30 would not be very suprising either. And that would suck - because many wont be happy with paying 15 to see half our regular field of sprints - along with just 2 other classes - one of those being EXTREMELY weak.
There's a strong contingent just from the sooner region - prob around 25 with the SFS guys added. The Lone Star region could bring 5 - or could be 15. But the Nat. tour raining out just about esnures that the National drivers in this region - would have much more interest. Baldaccini, Robb, Minter, Wood, Bacon, Crawford, S. McClelland, Jason Johnson, etc.
and to be honest - some KS, MO guys as well. Peters, Zach Chappell, Sutherland, Bellm, Maier..
who knows. who knows if we will even get to race. The only certainty is that mother nature's weekly assualts on the Oklahoma Dirt Track Racing Scene ---- will definitely continue. The saturday night shows statewide have been hit really hard - some worse than others, but that looks like it will continue for some and maybe all tracks this weekend. And the extended forecast already shows extremely high rain chances next weekend.
"The Bitch" is certainly having her way with Oklahoma's dirt tracks.
