I heard someone say after the race friday that it was a knee or leg that was hurt.
Hope it's not as bad as was thought - and that he is recovering well. Nasty, nasty wreck. The hole off the top of turn 1 was monstrous. How Jeff Leep kept from gettin upside down I have no idea. Maybe it was the bad ass lookin wings on the 99 - or just an overall bad ass wing from Airflow.
Suprised no one commented on the Garnett/Pickard wreck........

     Perry Pickard and Jeff Garnett get together during the Champ Sprint 'A' last Friday night. These were taken from turn 4 as Pickard tumbled down the back stretch. The flash didn't fire on two of the shots but I posted them anyway.

NICE Mike! Good sequence.
On the Provost wreck, I walked up there when they were trying to get him out of the car and the officials said that he had hit his knee pretty hard. The hole in the top of the track where his car came to a screeching halt was about a 2 ft. by 3ft. and 1ft. deep hole. The most amazing part was that the top wing didn't get any damage to it at all.

Mike that is a good sequence. I would like to get a copy of those to remind him what not to do. Just kidding. I told him it was just a racing deal but I do want the pics. We will not be there this week but we will be there next week. Thanks Kevin

Heard it broke his knee cap. That is coming from Springer who is like brothers with him.
