Much hype, ballyhood players, expectations high and BOOOOM the let down. Congratulations to the OU women for inheriting that of the football team in the BCS.
Thank GOD Monday is opening day in the Majors to put basketball to bed for another year.
And before I get bashed, I am not a bandwagon rider as I have been a faithful fan of OU since 1973.

All most any school would love to be like OU is. They may of lost but are one of the best schools anywhere. Im still very proud of them.

Boomer Sooner !!!! I didn't get to watch. What a year they had. They'll be back. Great coaching and great support from all invovled in the program as well as all the fans. The ultimate goal is win always but the reality is that you can't always win. It's not possible. Someone will beat you some time. We can accept that as fans because we are Sooners. WAHOO!!!! Congratulations to all the sooner supporters on a great season. Thanks for a great season also.

A lot of fans would love to feel the pain we've felt this year!I've jokingly been calling us Overrated University the last week or so but hard head is right you can't win them all. Also, think about it Bradford,Griffin,Paris all players of the year in the same year all from OU and all good kids we can be proud of.
God made dirt,man made asphalt.

Unbelievable, David. Think you're a little spoiled?

Yes, I am spoiled and I am a sore loser. Always have been as my parents house still has holes in the walls from my fist and head from a various amount of football loses. So with that said, I have grown up to the point where there are no holes in the walls at my house.
And yes, I should be grateful for what my Sooners accomplish. Beats the alternative but again, I am spoiled. Proud of my Sooners but yet spoiled nonetheless.

Well, I for one, am proud of what was accomplished this year and grateful to work at place that yields results like this. I guess I've been doing this too long to call years like this one a letdown.

I wonder how many universities would like to have the Heisman Trophy winner in Bradford, the Naismith winner in Blake Griffin, and a 4 time All-American in Courtney Paris participate in their program all in the same year.
They "only" played for the national championship in football, lost in the Elite Eight in basketball to most likely the champion in N.C., and lost in the Final Four in women's basketball.
They also have represented the school and state with class, which is not always the case with high profile athletes.
It's obvious that they have "underachieved and let us all down".
