Lost me for those dates. I can't take off 4 days of work for 2 races. So now I probably won't even run any NCRA stuff.

geez than you would think a sunday or something......
Wednesday? if he could even get drivers for such an event ---- he sure aint gonna get any fans.....
but wouldnt it actually be a good idea to run em on a saturday still? and give a night off to another stock division or something?

I bet he would get more fans than you think. The people that live around the track support the track very well from what I have seen in the past. I would show up but I got the summers off.

He's also having a Late Model show on a Thursday night.. You know what makes me wonder is why every other state can run tracks 3-4 nights a week and have a big show and we cant. This is ridiculous. WE NEED a sanctioning body for our state. There is no reason what so ever we cant. It works every where else. We are no different. I love the fact that i will be able to race 3 times in one week twice this years. Thats awesome!! Fans can have 3 nights of racing too!!

Other states have IMCA sanctioning and that allows for a lot of racing. It also allows the drivers to go to many different tracks because they do not have to change their cars from track to track. I think IMCA is what we need in OK.

If people really want to race they will be there. I don't see a problem with a weeknight show as long as it's ran in a quick timely fashion.

So your tellin me you would drive 2hrs on a Wednesday having to be there by at least 6 not leave untill at least midnight. I need to know what kind of job you guys have because there's no way I can with my job, much less ask the guys that help me to do that. Good luck! Hope you have fun. Oh, thats right its only down the street for all you guys so I'm sure you will. Not that I would expect for Lawton to get a date but a Wednesday race here and I'm sure the comments would change.

I hope it works, I would have to take off work also and I live in OKC. Its great that Brill got these dates, would have liked them on a weekend but thats how it goes.

I think Mark should be commended for taking a chance and going with Wednesday. I think if you want to race you will try to be there. If not then why knock the ones who will go and Mark for scheduling them. He always has a good fan count and runs his shows like races should be run. I think he will do alright. Time will tell.

I say we should not complain about what day Some tracks schedule dates. We should be calling the promoters of the tracks that have not and get them to schedule dates with the NCRA. I would love to see dates at Ardmore, Enid, Lawton, Outlaw, Creek, Pacola, Siloam, and OKC.
