ok so never a dull moment in fantasy land lol. so we're gonna do a fantasy football pick em on the forum here. i mean to post this a few days ago - but we wouldnt have been able to start it this week anyways. we will start it next week (that being the weekend of the 25th).

anyone to play has to play every week so everyone will have played same # of games. there is no limit to who or how many can play. there will also be no head to head matchups. just everyone against everyone else. there will be a weekly winner - and of course i'll keep track of total records until the end.

i know of about 6 right now that will play for sure. and hope all those with some interest will play too.

we will be picking a mix of Pro Football and College Football. i'm thinkin either 16 games a week (8 of each) - or 20 games a week (prob 10 of each).

I'll post the games we'll be pickin on Tuesday. so that MNF is out of the way. those with interest of playing check it out then - because there will be weeks we will pick the Thursday night college football game - or even pro if they play on any thursday's this year. and of course like the SFS league - you cannot change picks or edit the post once the 1st saturday game has kicked off. and yes some weeks that will mean thursday. also i have been considering having 1-3 "lock" picks that count as 2. i'll know for sure by the time i post the week 1 schedule Monday night.

anyone wanting to play can state so here. i guess in essence the dealine for it will be by kickoff by the first game of week 1 (next week). and as before - no added players after week 1 can be scored for the total standings. better to use records than winning percentages. if someone misses week 1 but still wanst to play - you can - and be in contention to win that week as well - but those who want to be scored for Total Records - and a chance at being the overall Champ - you must play every week.

anyhow - probably monday night round 11pm i'll post the games to pick for Week 1. and btw - we will go by team names not screen names. if you post picks but dont post a team name - then i will go by your screen name. but feel free to come up with any fiendishly clever names ya'll wish. and also - feel free to give ideas on what the league should be named. the commissioner for this league will be named later as well.

so thats that. we'll start picks NEXT weekend. if ya'll are into both pro and college football - would be happy to have ya play. if not, thats cool too. hope you play in the Racing Fantasy league next year.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to think about having one "lock" each week, that everyone MUST use each week, and if you win it, it is 5 points (could be any number you wanted to use), but if you lose it, you subtract 5 points (or whatever the number is) So, instead of a bonus, it makes a lock each week a very critical pick.

Just a thought.
