After winning prelims the past three years in a row, how come no Posse cars even made the A this year?

Because they didn't transfer to the A main. Pretty simple.

Probably a different reason for each team. I doubt any one thing in your poll was responsible for ALL posse cars not making the A.

Cubic, you left off Brian Leppo and Jeff Shepard. Of course, Shep did not race on Saturday. But I guess Leppo didn't, either.

I don't see an option for the actual reason which is that they just flat got beat. The answer is there were 100 of the best drivers in the world at these races and the best 24 teams made the A and the rest didn't.
Stop trying to make excuses and just accept the fact that this year they weren't on that level.

The Tyler Walker reason was meant as a joke. He seems to be to all the rage on the board today.

You can't only question the Posse, what about the AllStars? They were the least impressive bunch there, not 1 car was a real factor all week.

No 12, 77 and 88 cars anymore, YES money does make a difference. Looking at the results over the last 4 or 5 years at neutral tracks (anything other than the Grove) they have been fading for the most part. The young guns haven't stepped up to the plate like in other parts of the country. The veterans are just that, veterans and the Outlaw guys are younger? Just thinking out loud, no bashing, none needed.
I think the top two non-outlaw teams these days are from CA not PA, both Tyler and Tim have Outlaw experience though and that does make a difference. Take It Easy.....
PS The Dude is likely there also, but does he even have a ride????

Wow, I knew that Dewease struggled...but he did THAT bad?! I don't follow the All Stars at all, is the 30c a decent team?

Tire rule was tough for PA guys and certainly helped K-ville guys. As was said to me by a driver, 'we never run this hard a tire.' Inexperience and a little bad luck did not help either. Layton, Shepard and Leppo 1st lap crashes. Cody looked like he was getting a good feel by the end of the week. Lance down on motors. Rahmer out to lunch. Sean Micheal timed well but could not follow through with part-time team. Hodnett was in best position, but has really not been strong all year. Hey, Posse was beat; can't wait to see all the non WoO travellers at the Natty O with their K-ville money....
PS - BRR wore his Rahmer shirt and jinxed the entire Posse! LOL.

yes vote for me - it is an election year!
my seat in the stands clearly had a bigger impact than that decal on Layton's wing a few years ago? better track conditions than ANY of the 2 previous visits. i will plan future trips around the next tire rule...until then, enjoy.
best race food - cattleman stand ribeye / sweet corn.
the Rahmer fan who insisted i bring and wear this shirt needs to be careful what he wishes for!
glad to see locals in the A main and finishing higher than the WoO shows, maybe the Grove will drop the sanction for tyhe Open and run our rules?
