Week 18 results of the Open League.

finally won the Open League! its about time - it only took 18 tries to do it lol. all those top 3's and top 5's finally are justified. Sprints Rock and Lil Miss Dirt Princess - ya'll tied - ya'll should use ASCS at Lawton as the tiebreak! lol. its kind of funny - looking at all the ties - only 1 happened because of same picks (wescoe and drifters) - the rest found different ways to get the same #'s as others. hard to avoid ties when only 3 classes race. but still a good and competitive fantasy week. roll the welcome mat out for miSan Racing. our newest addition to the Fantasy League. Thank you all for playing this week - we tied previous record for entries (21 this week and last). only 8 of the 21 teams were Official League teams. so 13 new players through this league. thats freakin great!
I'm currently playing with the idea of having a tournament. we will still have the Open and Official Leagues. just trying to figure out ways to have a tournament - to where anyone can play. was thinkin like 32 teams elimination style. anyone could play -but to have an elimination style tourney it would have to be cut off at 32 teams (unless we could pull 64 lol). there are 16 official league teams - and this week 13 new(er) teams - that would be 29 - so we could have room for a few more too - and a couple may not play - my ol man wont - I may not - just dont know yet. havent figured out the specifics yet. i guess just stay tuned. the thought behind it is to create a way for folks the Open League folks to be able to pick twice a week too. and to have all of them and the official league teams together in something like a elimination style SHOOTOUT - well it could be really cool. and I'd like to do something cool for all the fantasy league players - especially those outside the Official league. kind of sorry to mention this when i still havent figured it out exactly - I'm pretty sure we'll do elimination style 32 down to 16 down to 8 down to 4 down to 2 and a championship. the most important thing to note is that nothing changes in either the official or open league. the last thing I want is to see less people picking in either league - especially the open league. so whoever would play in the Shootout - please still play in the other leagues that apply too.
thats about it for now. it was really cool meeting many more Fantasy Folks tonight. Sprints Rock, B Squared, Dirt Dale, Lil Miss Dirt Princess (still an awesome name!) - and Polish Posse (Jorski). as well as everyone i met the last few months. Dan Fan, Wing Nuts, Slide Jobbers, Bobcat, David Jones, Mods, Bull Slingers, Cheese, Springer, Uncle A, and there are even more. still would like to meet D.T. Cowboys, Dirt Bandits, Team 27, miSan Racing, Sprint 77, Carr Racing, and Speed Racer. GEEZ IS THERE ANYONE I LEFT OUT? lol.

OKCFan12, I was selling fitty-fitty tickets in the stands last night. I was looking forward to meeting the Grand Commish of the Fantasy League last night, but maybe for the Sooner Region show, we may finally make contact. We have to meet sometime.

Any time that I am not racing, I am usually in the stands. I very rarely come up into the stands on a night that i am racing, just not much time to work with.

Wescoe - being a football fan and knowing that Lilmissdirtprincess talks non-stop - I figured you would appreciate this story
We went to Norman Sunday night to take Koby out to a victory dinner (to celebrate his NCRA win). Koby and B-squared went out to the car before Dirt princess and I did. We walked out on to the patio only to discover that the oh-so-ornery Koby (with some encouragement from B-squared) had taken our car! I turned to Princess and said those losers took our car! And she was just standing there speechless, staring at Barry Switzer! He is obviously a hero at our Boomer Sooner / Dallas Cowboy home He was sitting on the patio waiting for his table and we had stopped next to his table to look for the car. Barry laughed at us and asked her if someone stole our car - and she couldn't even answer him because she was in awe. It was hilarious. We chatted with him briefly then found Koby hiding around the corner and left. She never said a single word to Barry. I'm pretty sure that if Toby Keith had been there too - she would have passed smooth out. lol
It was a pretty fun night all the way around! lol

That's definitely a good one, SR! Hard to imagine her speechless, tho. lol! But that's what happens when you find yourself in the presence of "The King". Pretty cool story. Ya'll need to thank Koby for that one, huh? Congrats to him for the big victory, too. Sounds like he was flyin' around the high side, pushing the crap out of that cushion! LOL!!

Haha it was hilarious when i saw the look on courtneys face. it was mixed with excitement from barry and anger for takin the car. it was priceless.

That's too cool. But can someone tell Lil Miss it's pretty having Pink reading and writing, but when you couple that with a Blue highlight (background) it is impossible to read.
We all enjoy you're input, and enjoy your post. But, we aignt quite sure what you said, or are trying to say.
Not picking on you Princess. I have the same problem with OKCfan12. Fancy smancy and the lack of Paragraphs brings reading and writing to a whole new level.
After all this IS NOT text messaging. It is a forum for all to enjoy. So please type in proper English to the best of your ability.

hey and btw dude - - - ever since wayyyyy back when you mentioned that - I use paragraphs much more frequently lol. i really do!
but i can't help it. I'm a longwinded dude. i just always have a lot to say lol. by midnite every friday - i am losing my voice. if you think its bad READING all that - imagine being the fellas who have to not just read it - but HEAR it as well over the phone. even I empathize with them lol.
