So I see that Sharon Speedway has now succesfully eliminated every decent open wheel show that they have ever run. Lets recap.
Sharon Nationals-Probably a Top 5 prestigious non-outlaw show that was run for a long time. Sanctioned by the All-Stars, this was really an opportunity to see the East vs. West on a neutral track. Granted, most were run on the old 1/2, but it was still a big show.
Sharon Speedweek-A former member of the famed Ohio Speedweek series, they have completely excluded themselves from getting back in the rotation. Now granted, Webb can be difficult when he wants, but the All Stars are as strong as they have been in a long time. Plus, it gave the locals a chance at a nice purse.
Sharon WoO Show-Also cancelled.
Sharon Speedway is quickly losing its prestige in eastern Ohio area. I dare say that they are going to be on par with Wayne Cty the way that things are going. (as in closed)
