My mailbox is being flooded with mail concerning gas prices and
illegal immigrants. To boycott oil companies or not; to provide amnesty
to illegal immigrants or not, etc. Since I have become jaded to the
various solutions proposed by the Republicans, Democrats, Sierra Club,
ACLU, etc., I have elected to solve the problems as they affect me. It
solves both my gas and illegal immigrant problems. I have hired illegal
immigrants to push my car. They're plentiful and cheaper than buying
gas. Then I pay them in pesos so they have to go home to spend it. I
love it when a plan comes together.

I know you always have all the answers, Duane, so I have a question on the subject that I have been trying to find an answer for. This Catholic church up in Northern Iowa has been bragging how
they took all these illegals in and took care of them and their families and actually hid them from the authorities. Why isn't this considered to be
harboring criminals? What if someone who commits some other felony is being protected and cared for by this church while the government searches for them? Would they brag about the compassion they are showing by harboring them and get away with it? Just blows my mind. Help me, Duane, I just don't understand.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

since back in the cowboy days, seems like authorities going into Churches has not been cool.
I really don't have a problem with the Mexicans here in Marshalltown (Mexico City), they have brought many businesses to town, a few great resturants,and best of all CUSTOMERS.
Give me 1,000 Mexicans rather than one Muslim.
BTW, they push almost the speed limit except on the Interstates.
They can deliver the mail quicker than the USPS guy lol lol lol

How in the hell can they deliver the mail when they can't even read the address? I guess we can go the way of the other soft hearts and make everyone address their letters in both English and Spanish for your brothers from the South. lol lol

They deliver the same way the Legals deliver, they deliver the heavy stuff first whether it is right or wrong, and hope the neighbors take it upon themselves to finish the delivery lol lol lol

Now just wait a minute Duane, Marshalltown isn't even close to Mexico City. Come up to Watonwan County, Minnesota and you will see MEXICO. Is their any one left down there?

I'd rather have muslim immigrants than mexican immigrants. mainly because its a much farther trip for most muslims to get here - whereas the mexicans just got to go for an afternoon swim or walk.
but then again - unlike most - I don't see the entire faith of islam as my enemy. not a good idea - thats not a war we can win (sorry to deflate the unwarranted ego's out there).
how ironic - that BOTH terrorists and illegal immigrants have never had a better friend - than the head cockroach (dub-ya).

Duane - while they are pushing your car - how do you keep them from stealing it (or at least everything inside of it).
Being a Texan - I'm sick of them... and their Spanish grocery ads, phone books, etc.

What I am saying Okie, The Mulims do not think like normal people, they have a value system opposite of the traditional American values.
Life means nothing to them, and the taking of a life is one of the simple pleasures of life for them.
They do not like anyone except other Muslims, abd will try to take over what ever they can.
As for the Mexicans, I have my business right across the street from Mexican businesses and Churches, I have done a lot of business with them, they are respectful in all of our dealings and more honest to deal with than many of the americans I deal with.
Like Carol, I do notice way to much in the way of non blending such as spanish ads ect, but I have a hunch when the Irish, the Polish and the Italians migrated to America, they did the same things for a generation until the kids taught the parents how to speak the language.
My biggest issue with the Mexicans is even they don't know how to read Spanish.

ok man but who is to say what is normal. many different ethinicites differ on that. I could support some claims that are critical of people of the Islamic faith. but what you are saying - is that basically as a whole they are not as good as us or something. dude genocides started that way. I know that is an extreme response - but its true. AS A WHOLE - they are no better or lesser than any other group. they are humans like anyone else - and bleed red like anyone else.
I just can;'t support a notion that one group is better than the other - whether it comes to race or religion. all have assholes, fanatics, and good people too. no one is made any better than others. I'm sure if I got to know a few more muslims - or people of arab descent - I would find a lot of cool ones. the only difference i really see is that politics has made americans and muslims extremely ------ spiteful towards one another. both our country and any predominantly muslim nations have fanatics - and both have good people. both sides should stop lumping everyone in with the fanatics. I know I am right on that one. another thing is with the utter racism most have in this country towards arabs and muslims - how do you think they feel when they are here. imagine going to live in the middle east or something - with everyone not liking you - you would prob be apprehensive too. I dont say this pertaining to you nodust - but with so many of bush supporters just hatin on all muslims - why no one raise hell about the plane full of bin ladens that took off shortly after the NYC attacks? its like the reps promote everyone hating muslims - and yet they are all tied up in business with em. i mean everyone is - but those who are fear mongering with islam - are walking an extremely thin line. they may not say to hate all muslims - but they address the racism in about the same overall manner that hillary clinton did when over half her supporters were openly claiming race was the reason they were voting for her (or not voting obama). ok sorry that is straying away from the point kind of.............

It is indeed laughable when I see how quick the people of color turned on Hillary.
In the Clinton admin., I do believe Willy put more minority people into jobs of power and prestiege than all of the Presidents before him combined.
The Black people called Slick Willie, their Black President at the time, it looked like Willy went out of his way to choose a minority for a job, them wham bam, here comes this rookie out of the Muslim world and kicked Willys ole lady to the curb.
I find it ironic that the Mulsims brought forth a candidate and because of color, they chose him over the most racial neutral person in America, Hillary.
BTW, life experences will help you mature, it is something that can not be studied, I am sure you will someday decide that seeing the wqorld through rose colored glasses does not allow you to see the world as it is.
BTW, I have no problem with black people, but I do have a problem with the basic beliefs of the Muslim world.
There has never been peace in the Mid East, and I doubt that there will ever be. maybe the solution is to turn the area into glass, then go in and pump their oil dry.
