No the ascs 2 is not at Ft.Cobb. However Duttons is running a regular weekly show with the gates opening at 5 and racing at 8.

so is the ascs2 schedule even accurate?
what happened to the cowtown show? I had both cowtown shows they were to be there circled. sooner region sprints plus those 3 classes would be really cool. why didn't the first cowtown race go down? when is ASCS2 runnin I-44 again - - - if it is in October - that will really suck balls.
someone needs to holler to someone about I-44 runnin the SFS Winter Nationals weekend. If I-44 promoter is disillusioned to think its a good idea - - - I bet ASCS2 folks definitely know its not. any chance of them switching it to another weekend???
By all rightsboth tracks should compliment each other. well we know Lanny wouldn't ever do anything like that..............but the I-44 guy should know especially when ascs2 is in town and the show will be good - - - that some of the SFS fans would come out. I know my ol man, tanner, myself, my grilfriend, my nephew, and my mom would. and I bet several others I know would go to - - - but not very many people likely to skip the SFS winter nationals to go to I-44. they should run it the week before SFS winter nationals. I do think OKC race fans would go to I-44 to see ascs2 before driving to Lawton's winter nationals. maybe not all ----- but about 100X more than would skip SFS to go to I-44.
I imagine I'm bout to get slammed for goin on about this. but with not havin much dough to go to out of town races ------- like Lawton or Devils Bowl Winter Nationals...........it would be cool to see SFS Winter Nationals one weekend and then the I-44 race the weekend before or after. with both ran on the same weekend - - - thats less racing to view for OKC area race fans...
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a

Here's what the ascs2 website says.....
TULSA, Oklahoma (May 16, 2008) ASCS2 and The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation announce they are joining together to support Race4Life to be held Memorial Day Weekend. ASCS2 has decided to postpone our races scheduled for Memorial Day weekend to allow our drivers and race teams to participate in the Race4Life. The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation is jointly announcing a $250 Contingency Bonus to any ASCS2 Member that wins a Sunday Night Feature Race.
ASCS2 will announce rescheduling of the Memorial Day races at a later date.
Race4Life is an annual event for Micro Racers held each Memorial Day Weekend. Visit their website at http://www.TheRace4Life.com
The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation was established by Tony and Kathy Ross, and daughter, Nicole Ross, in memory of their son and brother, Michael Paul Ross. Michael passed away in 1990 at the age of 5 years old from a very rare genetic disease known as Tay-Sachs disease. The Foundation proceeds benefit the Bay Cliff Health Camp in Bay Cliff Michigan. Click here to visit the Michael Ross Memorial Foundation website.
ASCS2 is the Micro racing division of ASCS and sanction races throughout Oklahoma and Texas.

I actually respect ascs2 for doing this. They made an effort all year to schedule around the other "big shows" so that drivers didn't have to choose which place to race. I know they scheduled around Port City's Nonwing Nationals and Pete Frazier Memorial and the I-44 Speedway Minisprint Nationals.
