Upon frequenting other message boards, this gave me an idea.

Are there any drivers out there willing to take pictures of your work in progress during this off season? I would like to see one modified driver, one sprint car driver and one pro stock/factory stock/street stock driver participate. After you tear your car down, take a picture of it before you start working on it. Each time you work on it, at the end of the night, take a picture of it and post it on the same thread that has your car. This will give fans a chance to see what it really takes to get your car ready during the offseason.

Just a thought to get this message board more active.

I'm not a driver but I think that is a cool idea. I think that it would be pretty cool.

Same way with us David I have got the modified done except lettering it and we have already tore down the sprint car and just waiting to get the frame back from Airborn and get the motor back from Brand. We might just get both of them by this weekend(Keeping my fingers crossed)

Cool guys, post them if you would. I just think it would be neat for the average race fan who frequents this website to see what all is done during the course of the "off season" to get ready and preparred for the next.

One of you post your pictures on one thread, the other on another and so on and so forth. Replying too your own thread basically.

That's a cool idea. But like alot of the others, I'm nearly done with both cars. The modified is about 80% and the champ sprint is 95% (minus lettering on both).

I do have a couple of pics I took of the modified as the body was being fit. I can post them as a sneak peek. The first pic is what it looked like this year and the last pic is what it's going to look like when it's finished.

It's not HOW fast you go, but how you GO fast.

That would be awesome... race fans would love the pics... drivers wouldn't have to spill your setups you've worked years for; some fans don't care what your spring rates are lol... just show us how the heck you install the things without losing a finger HA! Here's something to think about putting in there too... how many have built their own hauler or modified a trailer for racing? A bunch of pics with buck-saving ways to throw a trailer together would be awesome. Just an idea. I'll bet you guys have tons of ways to save bucks throwing a trailer together. At any rate, fans would eat up any stuff drivers posted about mechanics of cars and I'd also bet threads like these would get tons of views.

I'll see how many more pics I can get in sequence to installing the body and doing some front end work.

What would be perfect is when you post your pictures, give brief details on what you did that day when you did do some work. This would give the average race fan here something to see and what all it does take during the off season.

Thank you again and look forward to see ya'lls off season work.
