Very true. He created his own ideal series. Plenty of sponsor money for him to win and an opportunity to sell tons of merch not to mention, the tracks on the schedule are ones he's had tons of success at but hey, he has the ability to do it so can't blame him one bit. That said, Rico waxed Kyle's ass tonight. Great to see Rico winning a lot again. How can you not love that dude?

Fans, drivers and teams are tired of Larson winning everything. Larson, sandbagged it and gave his good buddy the win. Racing pretty much sucked all night like the Series is beginning too!

How do you know he sandbagged? Are you a mind reader?

Interesting that Rico and Kyle are two of the top 6 favorites going into the month of the Nationals. Rico is a crowd favorite and Kyle is probably one of the best since Foyt and Strewart and can drive anything it appears. Everybody likes an underdog and not everyone likes the favorite but they all have to buy a seat.

I thought the exact same thing.

People are getting a little tired of High Limit turning into the KL Benefit series.  

He and Rico are best buds and Rico's parents helped fund Kyle's early racing career.  So last night was a little Thank you.

Kyle already showed is feelings for Kyle earlier this year or do we all forget the infamous heat race.  The one where Kyke officiated from the drivers seat.

Why didn't everybody else pass him too? How did Rico get to 2nd? Kyle had no control over that..... plus, he almost caught Rico after initial pass. How did he know it was Rico behind him? No rear view mirrors....

Kind of a boring race on TV, I don't understand why everyone thinks Grandview is such a great race track. I haven't been there in 30 years but any race I see on the tube doesn't do much for me to make me return. Rico is fast now, we all know speed is a matter of money.

You can not judge the quality of racing at Grandview based on last night. The track was HAMMERED with rain on Tuesday. Over the last twenty years, I have been to most of the Mid week Thunder on The Hill shows featuring sprint cars, both 410 and USAC wingless, and the races are generally good. What was missing last night was the track's small block 358 modifieds as a support class. They usually help widen out the track and that contributed to last night's fast surface with them not on the program.

Looks like the honeymoon is over between the fans and the High Limit series.  6 months ago (according to many WoO haters) the High Limit series was going to bankrupt and replace the WoO.  Now, 27 cars is not enough, the fields are blah, and they're not even real race cars.  This sounds about right.  

How can more sprint car racing be bad?

First full year of High Limit series. So what if Larson and Rico win. Aren't they the drivers everyone wants to see race anyway?

Others have won and will win these shows. Just enjoy it while we have it. With this territory comes low car counts, bad weather and bad shows.....as well as high car counts and good weather and good shows.

Sounds logical to me.  

After watching the race I feel Kyle LET Rico get the win. I think If Kyle keeps winning in the High Limit series most everybody will cry about him winning. So it looked like Kyle let his little buddy get the win to calm things down. I bet if it was big money race Rico would have never got by Kyle. That will not happen at Knoxville you can take that to the bank. Its entertainment guys and making money for the promotors. Be grateful to see Mr. Larson race sprint cars. He is sure not doing it for the money. He's doing it for us fans and love of the Sport. I wish everybody would quit whinning about Larson. If I was a driver I would love just to race against and said I beat him.  Let's face it. Larson is so talented. Just enjoy what you are witnessing. I have not seen this great of talent since Tony Stewart and AJ Foyt. Sit back and enjoy!!!
