Someone put on here a whlie back Kyle Larson will be at Husets.

I would say anywhere between 35-42 cars.
Knoxville Cars - besides the normal husets/knoxville cars you will get Brown
No All Star guys will be here, they are currently racing Ohio Speedweeks lol
Also Scelzi will only be racing Husets not Jackson

That's what I was thinking. Minkota used to be the name of a brand of electric trolling motors. I don't know if theyre still around but that was my first thought was a trolling motor I had on a fishing boat.

There won't be any All-Stars there on Sunday but I would be surprised if you don't see them there for the rest of the week. Saturday is their final night of Ohio Speedweeks and then they are off until July 9th.

Doug Johnson did an interview with Midco Motorsports and said that they have been in contact with All Star teams. Ohio Speedweek final night was Saturday the 19th. I think seeing as I know Doug from his photographer days that I'll go with what he said in the interview. He didn't give any names but I have a hunch there will be some All Star regulars there. And, if my hunch is wrong I'll still watch all week.

3rd biggest races of the year and no entry list!
Husets/Jackson are gonna be...tire eatters...besides Monday Cool 50 degree night!
Did anyone notice how they limited tires per team at the Dream Late Model Race.
I wonder if they will be doing that come August for the Sprint Cars
Look for around 35-42 cars as I am sticking to that number
DJ Netto should be there
Garret Williamson should be there
Tyler Courtney / Sam Hafertepe / Cory Elliason would be the only All Stars I could see to come here
The All Stars are racing 1000 miles away tonight, most of them are normal Joes and have real jobs.

I am pretty sure one of our top California drivers, Shane Golobic, in the 17 car will be there and Jackson the following weekend!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Late Model fans have a cool thing they do for the USA Nationals at Cedar Lake every August. Some years back they started a "fans fund" and collected enough money to offer $1,000 to drivers as an incentive to come up here and race. They compile a list of drivers and go down the list and contact them. If they can't make it work with one they go down the list to the next driver. By doing that they have added a handful of cars to the show each year going back over a decade. It's a multi day event so they have a lunch for contributors and the drivers join them.
Here in the upper Midwest some teams shy away from making the trip because of the location so this brings a few favorites that might not come otherwise. It's a $50k to win race with a good purse but purse money isn't always enough so this has helped to add cars. I am not a good choice to organize something like that but I'm putting the idea out there and maybe somebody will come up with something like that on the Sprint Car side.

How long does it take for the fringe drivers to realize they can not sign up knowing they will get an invitation with a bribe? Or do they have a rule where the same driver can not be invited in consecutive years?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I don't have any idea about the details. My only involvement was making some graphics using my photos one year and the guy who was running it gave me a nice Fans Fund jacket. I used to be on their media list but haven't done any of that since 2015. I was 64 about to turn 65 and couldn't keep up with the young guys anymore. They probably still do that but I am watching from home putting the emphasis on Sprints. Hey, it was considered one of the Late Model crown jewel races a half hour from home and it was free so I made it to almost every one for seventeen years. That was when I was still drinking beer, I got an old popup camper I used to pull out there and would stay for the whole thing. It was fun while it lasted.
