3rd biggest races of the year and no entry list!
Husets/Jackson are gonna be...tire eatters...besides Monday Cool 50 degree night!
Did anyone notice how they limited tires per team at the Dream Late Model Race.
I wonder if they will be doing that come August for the Sprint Cars
Look for around 35-42 cars as I am sticking to that number
DJ Netto should be there
Garret Williamson should be there
Tyler Courtney / Sam Hafertepe / Cory Elliason would be the only All Stars I could see to come here
The All Stars are racing 1000 miles away tonight, most of them are normal Joes and have real jobs.

20 Laps in and started Smoking the Right Rear.
Gonna be a long week for the kids making $400 bucks a week mounting tires for the WoO Teams!

Why does Husets always rubber up? Jackson does this as well. A Tod Quiring issue? Are there other factors involved?

yet Sunday it DID not rubber up......might be more to who is in charge of track prep at these events. Just saying.
Where's my beer or scotch on the rocks? God-damn it! 40
plus years of dirt track racing in these old veins might
get me condemned by the EPA.

The issue predates Quiring by a decade or two. It's just as apt to be a tire-eating track as a rubber down track. And then a lot of nights, it's neither. I'd guess it's related to the type of soil- how fine it is, the weather, and how many high-horsepower sprint cars you have pounding it.

It has been hot, dry and windy in the upper Midwest this year. They're having to deal with that.

Dirt track prep is like farming. They look at the weather, make a plan and sometimes they guess wrong, sometimes they nail it. If people want consistency they could pave the place but we dont want that. When track conditions are difficult every driver has to deal with it so nobody has an advantage. If a person follows this sport long enough they're going to see just about everything imaginable and a lot of things we can't even imagine.

Not trying to start a gang war but is there a sensible reason the McCarls aren't there?
