Please keep Tim Walker and his family in your thoughts and prayers. On October 6th, while loading the car on the trailer, Tim was crushed by the racecar. He was tying down the car on the back of the trailer, when it slipped out of gear, rolled off the trailer and on top of Tim. We are not sure how long he was there. Four guys helped to get him out from underneath the car, Kevin Scott, Corey Blank, John Lewis, and Greg Wilson. Tim was rushed to the hospital. He was reported to having broke his back. He went in for surgery last monday. Tuesday the doctors asked if he had feeling in his leg. When he said no, they scheduled another surgery for Wednesday, which was successful. Thursday he had feeling in both legs, and was able to stand up. Doctors were not sure if he would be able to walk again or not, but things were looking real well. Until Friday night...... Because of his diabetes, the doctors took him off the pump, and were giving him shots instead. Friday night his sugars dropped dramatically. While sleeping, his dad woke up to Tim coughing. He didn't think much of it, till he heard Tim gasping for air. When he got up and turned on the light, he noticed Tim was not breathing, and didnt have a hearbeat. He went out to get nurses at 4 a.m. By time the nurses got into the room and called a code blue, he was without oxygen for 15 minutes. Saturday morning they put him on life support, and gave him 72 hours. They've done a few tests to see if there's been any brain activity. Test results haven't been good. Please pray for him and his family as they are going through this hard time.
We are currently taking donations to go to Tim's family. If you would like to help, let me know and I will give you my address to send the donations to. There will be a collection on Saturday, October 20th at Victorville Auto Raceway

Any update on Tim? I grew up on the same street as "Timmy." My husband JJ Ercse and I now own the home he grew up in. We ran in to Timmy a couple years ago on a neighborhood camping trip. Didn't realize he was a racer. I've probably seen him at the PAS and didn't even realize it.

Our best to Candy and Mandy and the entire family.

Lisa Ercse
