First want to say Thanks to George Welch and OSP for taking a chance on the Champ Sprints again and running us this year, 3 good shows you had this season.
Was having a great time right up until the Power Plant took a SHIT and we were done , but managed to get a cup of that Tasty Ice Tea George brewed up and it was NICE!!!, Good stuff, Put me in a better mood and then I go back later in the night and get a burger and try to get more Ice Tea and SOLD OUT!!! , Guess George is on his way to financial freedom now with sold out Ice Tea Coolers at all Concession stand venues at the track by the BIG Shed.
George had a Hell of a night, Had to move the pit area once from the track back to the pit area , TOO many cars , good problem to have , then has to Punt 2 Mods out before the BIG Show even gets going,That was pretty wild , have not seen that before in the couple of races I have attended and then gets to run the show , which overall was good as I seen it and got to see it all with the early exit of my sprinter.
Second, Tom Sewell and Barry Grable , Thanks for the Hospitality , Sure is nice to have a promoter/series director come around and tell you THANKS for Showing up and bringing your car instead of what can be addressed to you at other facilities, Thanks for the $100 show up cash , did not even take a green in the B main and still got money , was very ,very surprised by that. Most places NO taketh the Green ,NO $$$, I can see you are trying to keep it fair as possible with trying to get the car counts up,The Contingency stuff ,Fuel, Tools, Dyno Time all good stuff , would have like to have had a chance at something but OH Well, The $100 helped a bunch and Thanks again for that , hope to be back but with the cost of these 2 Bar. Motors makes my future iffy in this sport but that is for another subject.
One more thought and I am done, from the time I pulled up to OSP pit gate , this race just seemed different,Not just another Race or Grind, Maybe it was more of an Event and I had a heck of a time at the "EVENT"
