What ever happened to sportsmanship and appreciation of the fans? Steve Kinser gets passed on the last corner of the last lap and then refuses to come back out on the frontstretch for his second place interview?!? Joey dominated most of the race, got boxed in by lapped cars, yet he was gracious enough to be out in front of the fans for the third place interview.
Kinser if you thought the boos came plenty before tonight, wait and see what happens at Eldora. You disrespected Brad Doty and the fans that were at the race by not showing back up on the frontstretch after the race!

And, it's a 1/4 mile track, what do you expect? Theres traffic everywhere. If the boys with the big budgets can't get by him too bad for them.

...so you are getting your undies in a bunch over Kinser not giving an interview and Chaney racing for position, but not a mention of the "attempted" slider Fred Rahmer put on David Harrison...if anyone should be ashamed it should be him...
...at best it was a busch league, rookie move by a Hall of Famer...sent Harrison head on into the turn 4 wall totally destroying the car...thankfully David walked away...
...I guess Lucas Wolfe is not the only driver Rahmer get stand getting beat by...

On the Rahmer issue...it was a dumb move... broke the front of the frame off of Harrison's car... the WANKER that stood twenty feet away from Rahmer, with two small children in front of him, and yelled obscenities at Rahmer was probably more idiotic... a big man would probably have went over within I dunno, 5 feet and yelled and not stood behind small children...
On Kinser...shrug... his motor sounded jacked up in the pits after the race so maybe he was messing with that...
Chaney wasn't that bad... Daryn Pittman was throwing slide jobs on Meyers and Saldana when they were trying to lap him...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

yeah you a big guy too aren't you?
read your first paragraph again buddy. you say a real man wouldn't stand behind his kids and yell - instead go yell it 5 feet away - but yet in front of his kids. I bet you're a diehard nascar fan too - probably whoever budwesier sponsors. you gotta be drunk to make that statement. a paying fan can sya whatever they want. as far as him beign a real man ------ you are right and wrong. no goign and doing something like that in front of your kids does not make you a real man - no matter how intoxicated you are or whatever. what the guy should have done was just not yell obscenities. holler all you want - yell "dirty driver"!!!!!!! or something like that. but for you to suggest he should go over and pick a fight in front of his kids - like that is not worse than cussing near them --------- wow. thats real bright...
besides - i bet for all the years and veteran experience for Rahmer - some drunk guy yellin crap on the other side of the fence is nothing new at all - he probably heard it both ways his entire career. so i would bet even if a guy is 5 feet away running his mouth - rahmer would still be smart enough to walk away and dismiss it as just another dumbass drunk fan. a guy like rahmer doesn't get as good as he is with all the years he has put in - by responding to every idiot fan who yells something at him. no matter the vacinity.

From my perspective - great race and a very nice facility. I think if this track hosted more national events with the WoO, USAC, or All-Stars, more people would appreciate and give Limaland the credit it deserves from a national perspective. I would compare it favorably to Haubstadt, without the recognition. It's obvious Gene Frankart has made a big difference in track prep and that was always their achilles heel. As for Chaney or even Pittman getting in the way, come on - that's a reach. The cars reach lapped traffic within 1 or 2 laps on a 1/4 mile. That's the part of short track racing that makes these guys the best. I exited quickly after the race, so I didn't see what Kinser did or didn't do. Steve looks worn down to me and probably was frustrated with losing that race - it can't be fun to lose to guys half his age. I give him a free pass on this one. He has been great for the sport and no one has signed more autographs and been there for the fans like him. By the way - I am not a Kinser fan, but I respect everything he has meant to the sport. Lets all hope the KR gives us the same excitement. On a side note - was that a 360 in Rahmer's car? He made the show because practically everyone in his heat crashed, I'm not sure he actually passed anyone.

kinser's a lying sack of crap (my personal opinion of course). Maybe he was afraid of a literal ass kickin' as well...might have been uncomfortable having to actually look the Elite crew in the eye (s)...

the guy lost the race on the last lap in the last turn and probably didn't see it coming. on top of that the year "The King" is having. do you think MAYBE he was a little upset and just didn't want to talk?

I'm thinkin ole Rahmer did'nt even get out of the car from the time of the incident until the feature started as he was the only one that did'nt come to the front of his car & wave when he was introduced.

Gimmie a break!!! I think Steve is still traumatized and shaking in his racing boots today. He should just retire now, for fear of the Elite team.
