So Steve didn't come to the front stretch after the race to be interviewed and asked mundane questions. If you have been around sprint car racing for any length of time,you know that "The KING" is not a good interview, so what did you miss? Not much.... Have you ever thought he might have not felt good??? Maybe he had to go to the restroom???
On Rahmer's mishap, to anyone outside of Pennsylvania, we can take him or leave him. Granted he is a great driver, possibly one of the best ever. The thing that gets me is that the Posse fans are so enamoured with him that he can do absolutely no wrong,even if he does something and looks like and ass, and is guilty as charged, they swear to there grave that "FAST FRED" didn't do it!!
Get over it!!!!!

Steve was sizzling from the heat of the battle and coming out on the short end. I'm sure he was mad about what just happened and just didn't want to say anything. I don't blame him a bit. That's OK in my book.

Steve Kinser has forgot more about racing than most peoplke will ever know and im sure it most definitley includes slower pussycat and sumknucklehead like him or not he is an icon in the world of motorsports. jmo have a nice day

besides - i bet for all the years and veteran experience for Rahmer - some drunk guy yellin crap on the other side of the fence is nothing new at all - he probably heard it both ways his entire career. so i would bet even if a guy is 5 feet away running his mouth - rahmer would still be smart enough to walk away and dismiss it as just another dumbass drunk fan. a guy like rahmer doesn't get as good as he is with all the years he has put in - by responding to every idiot fan who yells something at him. no matter the vacinity.

are you literate? maybe i didn't do a good job of explaining the situation... this guy would run up yell stupid crap, then run off, then run back yell stupid crap... all the while making sure he wasn't ever close enough for anyone to say something back to him... it was by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen at a race track, other than Jason Sides winning the King's Royal... i think trying to start a fight with anyone when your kids are around is a dumb move... starting a fight in general is ridiculous... that's what i was trying to convey is the guy is an idiot... don't go to some driver's pits and try to start a fight, but if you are going to go do it... don't play peek-a-boo...go say it to the man's face... Harrison was parked right next to Rahmer, and he said it was a racing thing... so if he wasn't upset there wasn't any need for this wanker to be starting stuff... this guy wasn't on the other side of the fence... he was standing on the pit lane where the cars line for races...across the pitlane from Rahmer's car... Rahmer to his credit just laughed...
awful lot of anger there in your response... and no...I'm more of an Indy car and I don't drink budweiser and pretty much don't drink at the races...
nonetheless, it was still the best race I have seen... right there with Jac's 1st King's Royal win in the 22 and Keegan vs. Steve at Steve's first race back after NASCAR. Limaland is a pretty awesome track... never thought I'd say that one...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

My comments were tongue in cheek. I think Pussycats post was idiotic and uncalled for. I was simply mocking his statements on Steve. I don't think Steve is afraid of the 14 team or anyone else for that matter. Steve traumatized??? shaking in his boots??? Read it again!!!!!

I have to disagree, a third of the Posse fans are enamored with him and think he can do no wrong, 2/3s boo him every chance they get. I could be blindfolded at Lincoln or Williams Grove and tell you when the 51 is pushed on the track. It may not be any louder than say Lance Dewease or Greg Hodnett, but it's the boo's mixed in that give it away. Me personally (which is irrelevant), I'm not his fan but you have to respect what he does in a racecar at times. He's not the only one to mis-judge a slider, it happens and it's unfortunate and someone is always at fault, but it's a part of sprint car racing and always will be. You can't win if you can't pass and when you have a slick track, the slider is the popular way to get it done.

Wow those flat trackin bad boys will be at the Darke cty. fairgrounds in Greenville Oh.this Saturday the 19th also. Glad I looked that up. Those boys will put on a great show. They already have 39 pre-entered to race.

You obviously don't get to PA vey much. LOL Rahmer is booed more than any driver I've ever known in central PA exactly because of moves like the one he put on Harrison. It has been a common occurence throughout his career. He does have a lot of fans just like Earnhardt did if you get the comparison, but most PA fans aren't enamoured by him.
Steve has done this before, at the Grove a few years back when Kreitz passed him for the win on the last lap, he went straight to his trailor and didn't talk to anyone after the race.
Kinser and Rahmer two class acts... NOT!
