Beyond internet chatter of "tastes great / less filling" and "so's your mother!", I think both groups have done a good job starting the season. The races were entertaining- isnt that what we want?

People talked about how Brad Sweet would win everything at H-L. That hasn't happened. People talked about the WoO having watered-down racing. That didn't happen.

So far, it looks like the guys to watch are:
Courtney
Gravel
Sweet
Haudenschild
Allen
Schatz
Marks
Larson
Scelzi

Also:
Abreau
Kofoid
McFadden
Schuchart
Macedo

And don't forget:
Cory Eliason

The only 2 to get a top ten in every race they have ran this year are ........ Schatz and Scelzi (7 for 7) Eliason is equal at 2 top 10s in his 9 races and equal to Schatz with Donny only outrunning him 5 of 5 times they raced together this year.

None of the websites suffer from being timely or providing a lot of information quickly. Does not make them any money they see easily is the likely cause.

I'm thinking the best way to see race recaps is on YouTube.  I fell asleep on Saturday night waiting for the Feature and woke up when the 18 got wadded up.  The recap came in handy.

One of the beauties of streaming is the ability to back up and replay what you may have nodded off during.

I'll have to check out the recaps too.

It does not have buttons like Flo. In the lower right just touch the line using the computer mouse. You can slide back along the line as far as you like. All the way to the start if desired. It takes a while to get the feel for just moving back a little or forward a little once you are not "live'. Clicking on the little box in the upper left corner will take you to live. You may be able to go to live using the arrow in the lower left corner where the pause button and mute button appears during events. The mute button for commercials is in the upper left I think. Not sure if a smart TV has these controls. I use a laptop to feed my HDMI input on my big screen Sony TV.

On the subject of WoO and HL races ran so far.  March tends to be a slow month on streaming and April is a fight with spring rains.  There isn't much of a sample size this time of the year.  I predict that by this summer people will get tired of comparing the two series and start enjoying their summer.  This is speculation season on steroids.  Which is best WoO or HL, watching free agency and the draft unfold is more drama and daily opinions than Sprint Car racing.  I'll be happy when we get past all that and get on with the season.

Tonight another 20,000 to win show and the outlaws aren't allowed to run it.  I like that the HL guys when they want go and take some of the outlaws money.  Until later in the year the outlaws can't return the favor.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

The World of Outlaws will be at the iconic beautifully manicured home of the Nationals this weekend for 2 action packed nights of racing. The 'Augusta' of sprint car racing if you will. Who wants to go run some s-hole in Arkansas on a Tuesday where they probably don't even have running water or indoor plumbing?

The WoO limits how many other races their drivers can run elsewhere.  Not the HL folks I don't believe.  I doubt the drivers care how many fans are in the stands if the paychecks are bigger . . . . . . Check out the stands for NARCAR Trucks and Xfinity although the cameras do their best not to show empty seats.

I enjoy the racing period.

Unlimited. ;)

However, after 4, I believe they get penalized big time.

I think it is funny they can't run the HL races, but the HL guys can run as many races outside there series as long as the HL aren't racing that night.

One of the back markers is here tonight.   He will not be in the top 10 to 12.

I'm not so sure there are "penalties"----just don't get to reap the rewards.  Maybe I'm wrong?  Do they get fined or told to return money already paid?  I guess I don't know the contract 100%

If they're not allowed to run the HL races, how is one of the 'back markers' there?
