Good for KTJ. Hopefully we'll see Zomer in a ride, but what ride. 91? Sitting west of Knoxville?

Interesting to see how Kevin will do with the wing. He was definitely one of the best wingless racers
I wish him luck, hopefully he'll make more money ;)
But I'll miss him at USAC shows...

They need to expand their current purses. $900 for 5th is just plain bad.

Like most, I did not see that move coming, however, Kevin is a wheelman.....just hope the team is not setting expectations too high. I hope they are patient and give him some time to adapt to racing with a wing.

I'd be surprised if Sammy would have even considered running that heavy of schedule.....and hard to say if he was even really considered in the first place.

Your right , that 's why driver's are leaving USAC . They have to make a living ,not enough dates but some are running a short USAC schedule like Brady Bacon .

Before his decades too soon death, the great great Bryan Clauson had stated the major reason drivers were interested in going to winged racing was the USAC/non wing purses. Sad for USAC but good for WoO and All Stars and other big-paying winged purse races. Has to do with attendance as most WoO races from coast to coast are in front of full houses. Maybe USAC is top-heavy with officials and their salaries, that I am just guessing. Maybe no different in winged racing as well.
Best of luck to Kevin Thomas Jr, hope Dusty Z. gets a high profile ride and has a great 2017. I'm sure he's been busy on the phone.

Hard to figure out the 82 car. a big opportunity for Thomas but lots of proven winged drivers out there for them to choose from. Once again scratching my head over this one! Hopefully they will be patient and give him some time to adjust. Other than Zomer it has been a revolving seat so far.

Don't think Dusty is interested in a high profile ride, more fun less pressure. Just my opinion.

I don't think you want to get in a 'how many races did you to go' war with this guy...

LOL - I don't believe patience is name of the game with this "team". Best of luck to KTJ!

We all know Zomer IS interested in a high profile ride! High profile is yet to be determined in relation to the BWW #82 team--its driver/crew member history speaks for itself. The pressures of racing, not a problem for Zomer and no matter which car he's racing, it's always fun because of his love for the sport! Dusty Zomer has had much success in racing and was the best driver this team has had!!! Just my opinion.
