I'm glad I have gotten to see KTJ race on dirty 30, after seeing how quickly Clausen and Tyler Courtney picked up winged racing Ive gotta believe Kevin will do the same. As for his time in the car, from what I have seen, results don't seem to jive with the musical chair that is the BWW ride. But as has been said on here many times, it's their car and they can switch drivers every race if they want to. Hope he gets a full season.

With that I'll add this.....having one company design the Nationals paint/vinyl scheme for last year's car, and then having another company print and apply that scheme, speaks to me that maybe the team's integrity isn't what it should be.

A lot of companies only do designs(blacbeard) and do not do printing and applying so i have to disagree with you on this one

I understand that. But in this case the company that did the design wasn't compensated. They assumed that the job was theirs from start to finish. Their mistake, I know. Just goes to show....

That's shitty if that actually happened.

Can't wait to see what KTJ does in this car. I've seen him race locally a couple of times, maybe even in a wingless car too this year.

I am hoping to buy a KTJ hat that doesn't have BWW on it...judging from the history lesson I might not have to wait too long...

Maybe BWW wants to do some non-wing racing this year also.  Just a thought.

Its public knowledge that Aaron Ott designed the wrap so that is a mute point, so again I ask, are you spreading rumors or do you have some type of proof that Aaron Ott was not compensated for his design? You have no problem throwing the BWW team under the bus for not paying their bills but you won't mention the name of the guy who got screwed, hmmmm. My bullshit detector is beeping and the red light is flashing.  Don Ott builds motors for some of the biggest teams in the country, I sincerely doubt the BWW team decided to screw over his son who designed the best appearing car at the Nationals, and I suppose the Ott's just sat back and accepted non payment for the design, especially since BWW also printed the "AO designs" decal and put it on the car for all to see at the Nationals and on TV for the replay. Cmon blazer, lets hear it, you opened this can of worms, your silence will only prove how full of crap you are.

If you are 100% convinced on who designed the layout, so be it.  I was told otherwise and I have no reason not to believe what I was told. Never said Ott wasn't paid.

From what I have been told by many crew chiefs is that they really like the non winged guys abilities.  If you can drive a non wing car you can certainly drive a winged car that is.  Look, I have first hand knowledge of how much the 82 crew loved Dusty.  I understand that changes need to take place for many reasons and sometimes for the best for all involved.  Its not always the driver and its not always the team.  They need to work together and be on the same page.  Sounds like Dusty is a little quiet and shy and this team is looking for more communication between driver and team.  Its a tough business when you ascend to the level that both Dusty and the 82 team were competitng at.  To me it sounds like KTJ will be a great fit and good find for the 82 team.

I am 100% convinced that you are wrong. And you continue just to take shit you heard from the street and think it's fact and then come on here and be 100% wrong. You owe the 82 team and Aaron Ott an apology on here, Larry.

Ahhh yes.  Blazer once again throwing jabs at someone that his buddy TQ doesn't get along with.  What a coincidence.

You can back pedal all you want, bottom line, you have no idea who was paid or not paid, you are simply spreading rumors about something you heard in an attempt to discredit the BWW team.

Dont forget you opened this can of worms. I'll say what you seem to be afraid to say. Octane did the original design on the black car that they ran all season, they were paid for that design and the vinyl and the application.  BWW paid for and owned that design moving forward. Nationals comes around BWW wants a special look so they contract with Ott to tweak the design, change the colors and apply the graphics. So now instead of Octane on the front wing it says AOdesigns.  Everything was fine until it won best appearing car and Ott was given credit for it. I understand why Octane would be pissed but they certainly were not owed any money.  If I missed something please fill in the part I'm wrong about.

Think before you type blazer,  spreading rumors to support your personal dislike for a team is pretty low at best. You seem to be pretty close to the racing scene in the Midwest and have a lot of great behind the scenes info and details that most of us wouldn't know about which I really appreciate, but you better be sure about what you are saying before you present it as fact.

Your dislike of Tod Quiring is endless. The funny part is, I've never met the man and have personally never had any dealings with him or have claimed to. I couldn't pick him out of a crowd. But I do respect the efforts and the number of years he has devoted to support sprint car racing.

First off, I don't have a dislike for the BWW team. As fans we don't always have to like driver change decisions or anything else that might occur within a team. And usually we fans don't have enough information to begin with. If what I was told had to do with sour grapes and not all the facts, then yes, I apologize to Aaron Ott and the BWW team. I'm not so small I can't stand critisizm or being made aware of the fact that there are always two sides to a story. I'm not unique in that when I'm told something from someone directly involved with a situation, that I trust it to be so. In this instance I should have let it go in one ear and out the other.

I don't think that replacing black with white counts as an original design...but I don't know exactly what the team bought when they bought the original design from 2015.  They may have bought the whole thing, leaving them the freedom to manipulate it however and whenever.
