Leading the Daytona 500 and hanging with the lead pack all day until he got caught up in wreck. Oh, wait a minute, I'm sorry, my error. I had him confused with Danica. Larson was the one that stepped on something that Danica does not posses after only four grueling laps.
Just having some fun with the worshippers and haters.

Yes--that will show the Larson lovers. Two blown tires and getting spun out by a spoiled, golden-grandchild. He really sucked it up.
I think he will be fine.

I don't doubt that he will be fine but he definately had a rookie moment yesterday. Taking off the Sprint Car blinders for a minute Larson is arguably the best Sprint Car driver to come along in a long time. Regarless of Larson's talent in Sprints he's in a whole different environment and the pressure of replacing a veteran driver who has won some of the most prestigious events in all of motorsports has got to be tough. In NASCAR the tail (sponsors) wag the dog (race teams) and they don't wait very long to see results. Larson will be judged solely by his on track performance and he'll have two years, three max to live up to the hype. NASCAR can chew up a driver and spit him out in short order. A lot depends on talent but his success will also depend on being able to handle the pressure and plenty of good luck as well. Larson has pushed every kind of car he has sat in to the ragged edge and seems to always know where that edge is. There's a fine line between awesome move and stupid rookie mistake and NASCAR has a way of humbling the rookies. Nothing is a given, he's got a lot of work cut out for him and I can't even imagine handling that kind of pressure at 21 years old. It should be an interesting season.

I agree with you 100%. I (respectfully) disagree with StanM.
Go ask the 41 other drivers who scared the crap out of them yesterday. I think most will say that Larson ran a very respectful race. I will think that most will say that they are scared sh!tless of racing next to Austin Dillon. Larson has been a good pack racer in the few Nationwide races he has run and the couple of Sprint Cup races he ran during speedweeks. He will be fine. If I were everyone else, I would be worried about the 3 car. He thinks he is the other guy that drove the 3.
Larson will be fine. Dillon MAY win rookie of the year but I think Larson will get the best of him in the next couple of years as Larson gets the stock car experience that Dillon has. That being said, I still believe Larson will best him for the rookie of the year.

Caused two crashes and still finished in the top ten...? :/
Sounds like the 3 car hasn't, all these years later, skipped a beat...
Opinions may vary...

Larson was a good sprint driver but last night he looked like
Morgan Shepard
dont deny it folks it's true
he isn't in good equipment and I don't think he will hit his ass all year but I'm hopefull that he makes it

This stuff that oozes out of Daytona these days that you people are calling racing doesn't matter one bit. Larson at Daytona is like a super model living in a heffer barn. We can only hope he fails every day like this past weekend so he starts driving real race cars full time again.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

And he wrecked half the field. You don't want to make enemies first year in cup. It also wouldn't hurt to lose the stupid hat!

Most of you should open your eyes a little wider. Lasron yes had some rookie things take him out early, but he stayed focused got back to one lap down and was in position for the lucky dog if he could get a break. He was running near the mid twenties in position when his big wreck happened. I thought he did a great job, considering. Also think about it, if he does "make it" in the NASCAR world, maybe he'll develop his sprint car team into multiple cars, maybe even as many as a half dozen, you never know. Wouldn't it be better for sprint car racing to have 2,3 maybe more teams running under the Larson banner then just one. Just an observation.
